I never thought I would write this anytime soon. Checking on my photo memories with you, I realized most of your pictures I took were pictures of you sleeping - I always felt happy that you are finally feeling safe.
Today, I saw you sleeping, at peace just like a baby but today my heart broke because I knew there was no waking up.
You took something of me with you, you were such a gentle soul, such a low maintenance baby who just knew only how to give love to fellow animals and to her humans. With your beady eyes and gentle ways, you made it to the heart of the ones who did not welcome you initially.
Rest in peace my princess - my Allah knows I have done nothing wrong keeping you and HE the Almighty is the best judge.

People have such audacity!
Leaving this lil fellow just like this - Bhoora (that's what we named him) showed up in our garden a month ago, at first hesitant and then disappeared for a week. He came back again maybe because the presence of pets at our place gave him the feeling he might survive.
One of us shared his info around, hopeful that someone might have lost him or if anyone is interested to adopt - result / not satisfactory.
When taken to the vet; we found he had been neutered, the neck collar gave him a severe wound and he was heavily infested with fleas.
Returning home with our doggie, Simoo, he seemed a bit at ease and after two weeks now they both happily share space, food and humans 😀
Surprisingly not something we humans are good at - Sharing and Caring!

Today was nothing like yesterday or the day before or the day before!
Today it was painfully nostalgic!
Today all I could think of was the last Ashra and that corridor of Masjide Nabawi, where those peaceful, calm and praying eyes bid me farewell reminding me of what should I be mindful about most in the last three days of aetekaaf!
I remember she secretly wished to ask me to stay for Eid ul Fitr prayers, which I did because I firmly believe now, it was her prayer at that time!
I cannot ever thank her and her daughter enough to be with me in those ten days, guiding and providing for me!
Please pray for one of the kindest soul that I have met in my life - as she has left us too soon but with a brave smile teaching us yet so many things!
the bond aunty gave to us, In Shaa Allah I will keep it close safe and protected till my last!
Stay brave my friend as I am sure Aunty is in a much better place looking at us with that same kind smile ✨
