From London to Kraków! 🇵🇱🇬🇧

Last week took our Senior Designer Aga Szubert inside one of Poland’s leading lighting factories - AQ Form - and it was worth the journey.

As a British studio working in the super-prime sector, we’re currently exploring opportunities in Poland and a visit to , kindly hosted by , offered valuable insight into how thoughtful engineering meets design.
From highly adaptable track systems to decorative fittings that sit comfortably between architectural and residential, the range felt considered and well resolved for a strong mid-market offer.

One standout moment: seeing, on camera, how traditional lamp-based lights can flicker — versus integrated LED systems that remain completely stable. A subtle detail, often unnoticed, but one that can significantly impact children and people with autism, where light instability can contribute to headaches and irritability. Design details matter.

A little bit about Watson (in his own words):

“Hello there! You might not realize it yet, but you WILL be my friend! I absolutely adore people, food, people food, other dogs, and did I mention… food? In that exact order. I love chasing those pesky pigeons, claiming every tennis ball I find as my own, and spending hours on long walks with my nose to the ground, discovering all sorts of things to roll in (much to my human’s dismay).

I might have ‘selective’ hearing when it comes to commands, but I can hear the doorbell from a mile away and will make sure everyone knows about it at the top of my lungs! I might be a bit of a handful at times, but who could resist my puppy dog eyes and cheeky smile?”
