The green tiles on this fireplace are a perfect example of how a single material can shift the entire energy of a room. I wanted something that felt organic but polished, so we chose these vertical, slender ceramic tiles with a deep mossy glaze that catches the light differently throughout the day. It creates this tactile, vertical rhythm that draws the eye up toward the ceiling, making the living area feel much more expansive. Pairing that bold texture with a natural material creates a balance between raw nature and refined architecture. It is exactly that kind of thoughtful detail that transforms a house into a sanctuary where you can actually breathe and find your focus after a long day of work.

Zielone kafle na tym kominku to idealny przykład tego, jak jeden materiał potrafi całkowicie zmienić energię całego pomieszczenia. While high end furniture and modern architectural lines provide the framework, the real soul of a home often hides in those dusty treasures found at a local flea market.

W projektowaniu najbardziej fascynuje mnie moment, w którym nowoczesna bryła spotyka się z przedmiotem z duszą. Dom to przecież coś więcej niż zestawienie designerskich mebli z najnowszego katalogu. Czasem wydaje mi się, że blat w kuchni powstał z myślą o kawie, a stół w jadalni o długich rozmowach. Ale wtedy nagle miękka łapa ląduje na dębowym drewnie i przypomina mi, że moja architektoniczna wizja to tylko plac zabaw dla prawdziwej duszy tego miejsca. Tworzenie tego nowoczesnego wnętrza było delikatnym tańcem między materiałami premium a codziennością. Głęboki granat szafek i minimalistyczne białe kafle tworzą czyste tło dla tej chaotycznej i pięknej rzeczywistości życia z kotami. Jako projektantka wnętrz wiem, że układ funkcjonalny i ergonomiczna kuchnia to podstawa, ale to energia zwierzaków sprawia, że dom ożywa. Tutaj czerwone krzesła w stylu mid-century i designerskie oświetlenie to tylko rekwizyty dla głównych bohaterów. Moja praca polega na znalezieniu balansu, gdzie profesjonalna stylizacja spotyka się z autentycznym stylem życia spod znaku free spirit. But then, a soft shadow jumps onto the oak wood and reminds me that my architectural vision is just a playground for the real soul of this place. Creating this modern interior was a delicate dance between high-end materials and everyday life. The deep navy blue cabinets and minimalist white tiles provide a crisp background for the messy, beautiful reality of living with cats. As an interior designer, I know that a functional layout and ergonomic kitchen design are essential, but it is the energy of these pets that turns a house into a home. Jest taki szczególny rodzaj ciszy, który zapada, gdy wnętrze w końcu odnajduje swój własny głos. Nie chodzi o ślepe podążanie za przelotną modą czy wypełnianie rzutu mieszkania przedmiotami z katalogu. Projektowanie wnętrz zawsze było dla mnie tym, jak czujemy się w danej przestrzeni, gdy świat zewnętrzny staje się zbyt głośny. To nie jest zwykły projekt, to kreatywna wizja, w którym każdy detal, od mebli na wymiar po miękkie linie architektoniczne, ma swoje uzasadnienie. Chciałam uciec od tego, co przewidywalne i stworzyć układ, który jest osobisty i pozbawiony pretensji. Chodzi o ten wolny styl i odważne podejście, które zmienia zwykłe mieszkanie w prawdziwy dom. Te leniwe dni między Bożym Narodzeniem a sylwestrem mają w sobie coś magicznego, zwłaszcza gdy poranne słońce zaczyna tańczyć na ryflowanym szkle drewnianej ścianki działowej. Długo zastanawiałam się, jak podzielić tę przestrzeń, by nie stracić poczucia lekkości i otwartego planu. Postawiliśmy na dębowe ramy i teksturowane szkło, które delikatnie skrywa sypialnię, tworząc intymny azyl, ale pozostając częścią spójnej architektury wnętrza. Spójrz, jak rdzawy aksamit zagłówka koresponduje z głębokim granatem ściany w tle. W tym projekcie nie chodziło o puste dekorowanie domu, ale o stworzenie nastroju, który sprzyja wyciszeniu. Projektowanie wnętrz to dla mnie zawsze poszukiwanie balansu między nowoczesną estetyką a funkcjonalnością, szczególnie dla osób, które cenią autentyczność bardziej niż chwilowe mody.

Są takie wnętrza, które od progu pozwalają złapać oddech. Aby to osiągnąć postawiliśmy na głęboki, ciemny kolor ścian, który stał się idealnym tłem dla osobistych historii opowiedzianych poprzez plakaty i sztukę. Ciepły, terakotowy aksamit wezgłowia dodaje niezbędnej miękkości i tekstury, podczas gdy dębowe drzwi przesuwne ze zbrojonym szkłem wprowadzają szczyptę architektonicznego kunsztu. W tym projekcie chodziło przede wszystkim o balans między nowoczesną funkcjonalnością a autentycznym, przytulnym klimatem. Głęboko wierzę, że nasze domy powinny być odbiciem naszej drogi i osobowości, a nie tylko zbiorem przedmiotów. Projektowanie takiej przestrzeni to zawsze proces odkrywania, w którym każda lampa i każda ramka ma swoje znaczące miejsce.

To achieve this, we chose a deep, dark wall color that serves as the perfect backdrop for personal stories told through posters and art. The warm, terracotta velvet of the headboard adds the necessary softness and texture, while the oak sliding doors with wired glass introduce a touch of architectural craftsmanship. This project was primarily about the balance between modern functionality and an authentic, cozy atmosphere. I deeply believe that our homes should be a reflection of our journey and personality, not just a collection of objects. Designing such a space is always a process of discovery, where every lamp and every frame has its significant place.
