Motherhood, huh. Fun and unpredictable adventure. Of course she was sleeping in her deepest sleep but suddenly woke up in the middle of me sketching. It is ok. That's why I have this no-stress sketchbook :) It would be nice to finish something I started. And I know that time will come soon enough:) My sweet third baby 🫶

I did something beautiful for myself: I've started a watercolor sketchbook. Guilt free paintings without thinking I would sell it or not. Obviously it contains my new self-portrait. I'm just happy to be alive and live my life. Be good to yourself 🫂

Happy Easter!
This is a painting of traditional Ukrainian Easter bread and eggs (Pasha and pysanki on rushnyk). This oil painting is about the celebration of life. It was the first painting I made after Gulian Bare syndrome. Happy to be alive 😅

"Sad sunflowers" found its new home in the psychologist office. What a wonderful opportunity for this painting to help people. I hope many of them will find inspiration in my painting. I hope it will be part of their healing process. I love sunflowers, they are little suns trapped on Earth. Aren't we all?
