Being an adult doesn’t have to be boring.

In fact, collecting cute keychains and items is what makes me smile after a long day of work 🤜🏼🤛🏼 (especially that first one 😂)

Sometimes the hardest part of being a creative isn’t creating; it’s feeling like you’re putting in the work and somehow still not moving fast enough 🥲

It’s so easy to compare your progress to what you see online or convince yourself that low views, slow sales, or a creative slump mean you’re doing something wrong.

But progress isn’t always obvious while you’re in the middle of it 🌱

Sometimes it’s one sketch, one new idea, one post, or simply choosing to keep going even when you don’t feel particularly inspired.

So if things have been feeling a little slow lately, this is your reminder that you don’t have to have everything figured out right now 💗

Save this for the days when you need it and send it to a creative who might need the reminder too🫶🏼

Some days I make art. Some days art makes me feel like myself again 🫶🏼

Creating, experimenting, making a mess, trying again,
there’s something about bringing something into the world that didn’t exist before that makes life feel a little more alive 💜

I think I’ll always need that 🖌️🎨

I used to think being an artist meant spending every waking moment creating 😅

Now, I think being an artist is paying attention.

It’s romanticizing your coffee shop visits, carrying a sketchbook everywhere, watching your favorite films, trying new things, resting when you’re burnt out, and allowing yourself to be curious.

Creativity isn’t something I wait for anymore. It’s something I make space for every day.

Here’s your reminder to live a life worth illustrating💜🫶🏼
