Emily Gibson Consulting Trauma-Informed Intuitive Tarot Reader & Well-being Educator

I filmed this back in August and forgot to post! But the advice still stands!

I am very grateful that I get to travel often. Travel can be stressful and tiring (for many reasons) and I’ve come to prioritize my comfort (mostly in what I pack!) to support my well-being while I’m away from home. And when it comes to comfort around financial well-being having the credit card insurance to cover delays and cancellations provides me a lot of piece of mind! Funny enough the two times I’ve had to use it in recent years was getting stuck in Montreal! Not the worst place. 💛

The best $55 investment to end the year with less overwhelm, confusion and frazzled nerves. At least in my opinion. 😉

“It felt like I was at a birthday party.”

I’ll be honest. I’ve never received this feedback before. IT did take me by surprise for a moment.

I received this feedback after my session, A Gentle Introduction to Trauma-Informed Care, at the OAND | Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors annual conference in Toronto two weeks ago. I facilitated a workshop that offered a mini-version of my Decolonized Trauma-Informed Care Certificate for healthcare professionals.

My goal is ALWAYS to make learning fun and engaging - regardless of the topic. (Of course done in a way that respects the seriousness and dignity of the topic.) I certainly do this better sometimes than others - but was happy that folks enjoyed the session and it offered the right amount of engagement for the last session of the conference.

In the one hour we covered a lot of ground from what trauma is from an Indigenous Trauma Theory perspective, how trauma can manifest in clinical care, trauma & stress responses, foundations of decolonized trauma-informed principles, specific practices that can support others to feel safe enough to engage with us and our work, to how trauma-informed care can support reducing practioner burnout.

Yes, this was a lot for one hour. But I always endeavour to to offer the most value possible which even more so requires the session to be participatory so folks remember what we talked about!

Thank you so much to OAND | Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors for having me! It was great to be back in my old stomping ground although brief!

If you’re interested in an introduction to trauma-informed practice (for any sector) - the waitlist is open for my short virtual introduction. The waitlist is also open for the fully Certificate for healthcare professionals. 🔗 where 🔗 live!

This is for the person building a life and a business her own way.

The one who’s connected to her intuition, or wanting to be more so, and who knows her energy shapes her business as much as her strategy does.

And it’s for anyone craving a little more community while she does it.

A 2-hour online retreat for the self-employed woman or non-binary entrepreneur who’s heading into her biggest push of the year.

November and December can ask a lot of us — and it’s easy to hit that stretch already running on empty. This retreat is a chance to pause, root in and get intentional about how you want to finish 2026, before the momentum takes over.

Inside our time together:
* Intuitive tarot guidance for the collective, tuned to where we’re all standing right now
* A space to share wins — big or small, yours to name
* A speed-dating style problem-solving round, where you’ll get real feedback and fresh eyes on whatever you’re navigating
* A guided meditation to call in the version of you who has already achieved what she’s working toward by year’s end
* A vision board session to anchor that version of you into your everyday mind, so she stops feeling like a future idea and starts feeling like where you’re headed

Early bird pricing until Oct. 14th - $45

A cozy little gathering for the self-employed, the entrepreneurial and the “I have an idea and I’m figuring it out as I go” crowd.

This isn’t a networking event. There’s no elevator pitch required and no stack of business cards to hand out.

It’s 2.5 hours to simply be in a room with other women and non-binary folks who are building something of their own and who trust their intuition to help guide the way. And who want to have fun and get to know others forging their own path.

Here’s what’s included:

* A private 1:1 fifteen-minute intuitive tarot reading with me
* A collective card pull and reflection on what’s coming up for entrepreneurs right now
* Tea & Halloween mocktails
* Games and activities designed for easy, low-pressure connection

Whether your “business” is a six-figure practice or a half-formed idea you’ve been sitting on, you belong here. No endeavour is too big or too small.

Space is intentionally tiny: only 7 spots. The last event like this sold out in under an hour, so if you’re even a little curious, don’t wait on this one.

Tickets are $85 including GST. 📩 To register for Tarot & Twilight, message me or Made in the 604 | Local Pop-Up Markets directly!

The waitlist is open for Sustain!

Sustain is a 2 month trauma-informed community designed to help you feel less stressed and more peace throughout your day. I’ve bundled all the somatic practices I know to complete our stress responses. Along with 8 of my favorite well-being practices, community support and nervous system education.

I’ve been hosting this cohort with the BC Refugee Hub folks and I’ve been so excited to hear all the tweaks people have been able to make to help them feel less stressed at work and feel more resourced.

Sustain is a tr@uma-informed 2 month live cohort for any professional who’s ready to stop overriding their body and start working with it.

I’ve woven together some of the simple accessible practices that have helped me create a life where my job isn’t running my life (even though I’m self-employed LOL). Where I’m feeling more genuine contentment, peace and ease every single day. This might sound insignificant - but it’s pretty freaking significant if you haven’t yet had that experience.

This will be a small cohort starting in the early Fall (northern hemisphere) and I imagine it will sell out just from the waitlist. So if you’re interested, please do join the waitlist - there’s no obligation. Just opportunity.

For years I thought I could think my way out of stress.

More analyzing. More journaling about why I felt the way I felt. More trying to logic my nervous system into calming down.

You know what that actually got me? More overthinking. And a whole lot of being mad at myself for not being able to think my way out of it either.

Turns out the mind was never going to be the way through. My body was.

Once I learned how to actually work WITH my nervous system instead of arguing with it, things started to shift in a way that years of overthinking never did.

Because here’s what I actually want: I want to enjoy my life and my work again. I want to feel like I’m really living all the feelings on the feelings wheel, instead of being scared to live all the feelings on the feelings wheel.

That’s exactly what SUSTAIN is for.

It’s a trauma-informed 2-month live cohort for any professional who’s ready to stop overriding their body and start working with it. We’ll get into the how, together.

There are benefits to being a hamster on the hamster wheel:
1) Promoted every 2ish years.
2) Very tuned in to other people’s lives.
3) High performing team.
4) Always “busy.”

There are also disadvantages:
1) Taking over an hour to finally fall asleep because my brain won’t turn off.
2) Constantly worried about other people.
3) Not getting my needs met by myself or other.

There’s also a different path:

STEP OFF THE HAMSTER WHEEL

Sustain is here to help you make a different path. Waitlist open only for a short-while.
