Autumn light in a messy studio. Today I'll finally get the chance to properly look through and photograph the pieces from the salt firing a couple of weeks ago. I can't wait to show you all!

Finally getting a chance to process the amazing three days of salt firing at Oficinas do Convento

Before firing

13h in, still keeping the fire going and starting to add some salt

The aftermath

The gorgeous bricks for the door

First layer of door in place!

Decorating the kiln

Slowly getting the temperature going

Checking on everything!

Hour 12?

Hour 14?

Aftermath!!

Analysing, comparing notes, trying to understand the clay bodies and pieces better

Beautiful piece by Antónia Labaredas matching the inside of the kiln - no glaze, all salt and wood ash 👏🏻

Little sneak peak of a piece, all salt and wood ash also

The team!! 💪🏻
