What a beautiful day to be alive! The weather had been perfect except a couple thunderstorms ⛈️ here and there, but I must admit it’s wonderful here in my fairytale garden 🪴 and guess what, I don’t know if anyone saw the video we posted about the raccoon family eating my flowers 🌺 No damage was done, Yey, I’m happy to say that no damage was done last evening when they visited the garden 🪴 Have a happy day everyone,! What a wonderful anniversary we had today , so we were in the kitchen getting a snack before bed looked outside on our deck and there they were I think a family of five raccoons munching on my flowers. What a day this has been, filled with joy love and nature’s wonders! Good night everyone, sleep tight and pleasant dreams!

My love inspired Carrot Cake 🍰
8\8 inch round cake pan
1 1/2 cups flour sifted
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups shredded carrots 🥕
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Beat everything together with hand mixer until everything is well moistened. Put into a well greased and floured round cake 🎂 pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 30-40 minutes. Cool on cake rack!
Frosting 🧁
8 room temperature cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Use hand mixer to blend until smooth and creamy, add 1 cup of chopped by knife almonds fold in gently. Spread icing on cooled cake 🍰 and decorate to your liking/ Thyme to cook with Marika ❤️
