LUND : Interior . Wellbeing . Lifestyle HAUS OF LUND is a platform for personal growth, interiors, wellbeing and lifestyle services Welcome! I work in English, German and Swedish.

I am a Coach, Interior Design Expert and Emotional Release Facilitator with a strong focus on holistic wellbeing and empowerment. I first started to introduced coaching tools to my Interior Design business in 2019 when I realized that my clients needed more help than just sprucing up their homes. In this intimate space I saw there were many more layers, which people might need support with. After

further training and development I have since pivoted my business to better align with my own skill-set and passions. I now offers a number of lifestyle services, including 1:1 coaching programs, emotional release facilitation and decluttering and interior consultations. Along side this I host and participate in regular talks, workshops, emotional release and speaking events. Today I focus my 20+ years of design expertise in the form of consultations and mentorship over lengthy project management to allow more time to support her clients with their emotional wellbeing and empowered personal growth.

Welcome to Part 1…

Learning German interior words had my brain turn to mush when I started a full time job in an interior store just one year after moving to Berlin / Germany.

This first experience assisting Mr Herrendorf had my brain totally fried and my nervous system shot to pieces. I laugh now thinking back to my 28 yr old self who took a chance on love, moved to Germany after dating a German guy long distance for a year and after starting my own business when I arrived I realised that I needed to experience and understand this world by being in it, and I’d run out of savings. So I took a job and threw myself in the deep end.

Can you guess what words I struggled with during that meeting? 🤯🥴🙃

First things first… I am still obsessed with design, furniture, interiors and art. But I had to admit that the energy and pace of life needed to run an interior studio was no longer available to me as a single mum.

Designing a life based on life and work feeling easeful, fun, and on the lifestyle I wanted to create was where I started. Sometimes it was difficult to differentiate the old dreams and new dreams… like almost signing a lease for a space which would have tied me to monthly costs of 2k and a contract for 5 years. I realised that it didn’t match up with my value of freedom, wanting to be paid to speak around the world, (still working on this) and travel being integrated in my work.

When some lovely clients whom I’ve already worked with asked me to help them design their new ice cream cafe I just couldn’t say no.

Best ice cream… final touches to come, but they already did a soft open on Friday. 🍦🍨🍧

Now Berlin is just waiting for some 🌞☀️ again.

We were fed a lie that being productive only looked one very specific way.

Tuning into my cycle has changed the way I work. Different phases offer insights, physical energy and mental capacity.

I know I can do amazing deep work around my bleed, and I’m probably gonna want to hibernate.

But give me three days and I’ll have boundless energy and creativity to ‘get s**t done’.

Resting up now so that I’ve got capacity for my kids these next days. Tomorrow school is out for the summer and Thursday I’ve promised them a YES DAY!!

Current dilemma. I’ve had this piece of furniture for over 20 years. It’s made it from my 20’s to my 40’s, Surrey to Berlin and from single to married, mother and single again. I love it, and think it looks beautiful with this combination of colours and textures, but it’s a bit deep and doesn’t really fit.

To keep it, let someone else look after it, or to sell it and open up space for this next chapter of my life. 🤔
