One mistake I made was 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭.

I thought I needed more knowledge, more confidence, better videos, better English, and a perfect plan before I could start.

But I learned that 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

If I had continued waiting for the perfect time, I would still be standing in the same place today.

As a working immigrant mom, I don’t have unlimited time. So I learned to start with what I have and improve along the way.

Dili man diay kinahanglan perfect ka para magsugod.

Ang importante kay 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐚 𝐦𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐮𝐠 𝐦𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧.

That mistake taught me something valuable: 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠.

Sometimes the mistake is not failing… sometimes the mistake is never trying at all.

Kung mabalik pa noh! One mistake I made was waiting too long because I wanted to be ready first.

As an immigrant mom, I know how easy it is to keep saying “𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐧𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠.” But while we wait for the perfect moment, another year passes with the same routine — work, bills, tired, repeat.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐢𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.It changes when you take the first step, even if you’re still scared and still learning.

I started this not because I knew everything, but because I had a reason bigger than my fears:
✨ more time with my family
✨ more freedom
✨ a future I can build for my children

Today we changed the brake pads on our car, and instead of doing everything ourselves, we let Jon remove and put back the wheels. 🔧🚗

Gamay ra nga butang, but for me it was a beautiful reminder that growth happens in small steps.

Children don’t learn everything in one day. We teach them, guide them, and let them try.

Little by little, they become more capable and confident.

Mao pud na sa life.
We often want big results right away, but many good things start from simple moments like this.

A small lesson today can become a valuable skill tomorrow.

As parents, we are not only fixing a car… we are also building confidence, responsibility, and character in our children.

Ayaw i-underestimate ang gagmay nga steps karon. One small step today can lead to a better future.
