As an immigrant mom, I know what it feels like to work hard, build a life in another country, take care of the family, and still wonder…

“𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭?”

When I first considered starting a business, I asked myself what my non-negotiables would be:

✨ Family comes first.
✨ I want more control over my time.
✨ Honesty matters.
✨ I need something I can build alongside my full-time job.
✨ I want other immigrant moms to see that they have options too.

And tonight reminded me why.

𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐉𝐨𝐧’𝐬 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠.

This is real life—work, family, school meetings, cooking, responsibilities… and sometimes building a dream in the little pockets of time we have.

And this is exactly what this journey is about for me:

Keeping my values while enjoying the journey.

The learning.
The growing.
The new friendships.
The deep connections with people from different countries and different walks of life.

Because as immigrant moms, we’ve already started over once.

Maybe we can give ourselves permission to dream again, too. ❤️

𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍! 🎉❤️🙏🏻

Yesterday, during my lunch break at work, mao na akong time to check my phone and catch up with my business… then suddenly, a notification popped up.

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 took the next step! 🎉

And honestly, I smiled.
Goosebumps gihapon every time this happens. 🥹❤️

Because behind every notification is a real person with her own story, her own reason, and her own dreams.

𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞 saw my ad, registered with her name & email for the free webinar, and took the time to learn more about what I’m doing.

Then she decided to explore further through the $149 refundable 30-day access, booked her pre-coaching call, and started asking questions.

What I really appreciate about Nicolette is her eagerness to learn.

𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐈𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓

One thing I’ve learned since starting this journey:
𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭.

As a working immigrant mom, there will always be work, family, bills, and responsibilities.

If I waited until I had more time, more confidence, or more knowledge… 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐠𝐲𝐮𝐝 𝐤𝐨 𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐨𝐝.

So I started with what I had.
A few minutes here.
A little learning there.
One small step at a time.

Because sometimes, the life we want starts with the step we keep postponing.

𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐊 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐢 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧.

Starting an online business was too risky.

But what's actually risky?

Spending years in the same routine:
Work. Home. Tired. Repeat.

Or a single job that could replace you tomorrow.

Now, I have a stable job, a family I love, and a good life. But I also started asking myself:

“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞?”

“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫?”

“𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲?”

Pagtataas sa mga what it's di no?

That’s the real reason I started.

Not because I hated my job.
Not because I wanted to get rich overnight.

I simply wanted to build something of my own, something that could give me more options for the future.

𝐊𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐧, 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐚𝐲𝐨 𝐤𝐨 𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲! 😄

Pag-abot nako gikan work, imbis magluto dayon… niligid sa sofa, relax. niubay pod akong bana naku unya nakatulog mi. 😂

Imbis early dinner, nahimong late dinner. So instead nga magdali-dali, nag-dinner nalang mi in front of the TV while watching a movie. ❤️

And you know what?

Usahay, dili gyud masunod atong plano. But somehow, things still work out—and sometimes, the unexpected turns out even better than what we planned.

Life is not always about having everything perfectly planned. Sometimes, we just need to slow down and enjoy what’s right in front of us.
