This Art opening event hits differently for me.

I went beyond my comfort zone by painting natural landscapes knowing it’s never easy painting realistic art. I painted amidst my teaching hours. This meant weekends spent painting, after work, continued painting. Honestly, I missed winding down over the weekends! But I paid so I’m committed.

My hubby isn’t with me this time as he’s not in Singapore to attend this opening. But he’s seen both of my paintings and he’s given the heads up!

This is my first art show so it was nerve wrecking to be among veterans and seasoned artists! Kept doubting myself and my art pieces. Oof.

But what made it all worthwhile? My family and friends. I personally invited them and they took the time to come. Seeing their faces made all these challenges so worth it. For that I’m super lucky.

My paintings are at Qoltured by FortyTwo at Raffles City Shopping Centre now. You can go and take a look at them and other gorgeous paintings from other artists as well.
