Kintsugi for a Good Cause: Thank You for Making It Possible

What started as a little idea to bring people together through art and give restored pieces a new home has turned into something truly meaningful. โœจ

Weโ€™re incredibly grateful to everyone who supported our Kintsugi for a Good Cause charity sale, from those who purchased a piece, to everyone who shared our event, spread the word, volunteered their time and showed up to support this cause.

Together, weโ€™ve raised over $2,000 for Samaritans of Singapore (SOS)! โค๏ธ Every piece sold carries a story of restoration, and every contribution reminds us that even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference.

The response was so heartwarming that we decided to extend our sale for one extra day, giving even more of our restored Kintsugi pieces the chance to find a new home.

Thank you for believing in what we do and for helping us turn the beauty of mending into something that gives back to the community.

There is something deeply meaningful about giving broken things a second chance.

This beautiful rose, once part of a broken ceramic piece, has been lovingly restored with golden seams through the art of Kintsugi. Its cracks are no longer something to hide, but a reminder of resilience, hope and the beauty of imperfection.

And this particular piece carries an even greater purpose. โค๏ธ

As part of our charity initiative, our Kintsugi creations are helping to raise funds for Samaritans of Singapore (SOS), supporting their life-saving su***de prevention work.

Every piece comes with a little handwritten message of hope, because we believe that sometimes, a few kind words can make someone feel a little less alone.

It was such a joy to be part of the ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐š๐ซ-๐…๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐‰๐จ๐จ ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐š๐ญ, a community event celebrating the neighbourhood, its people and its unique heritage.

To support this special initiative, Kintsugi Art Studio hosted our ๐๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ง๐š๐ค๐š๐ง ๐“๐ข๐ฅ๐ž ๐Š๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ ๐ข ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ, bringing together two beautiful art forms and giving participants the chance to create their own piece inspired by Peranakan heritage. ๐ŸŽจโœจ

So grateful for this amazing bunch of fun, lively and beautiful souls who bring so much joy, laughter and positive energy to every workshop and to our studio.

Always there whenever I need a helping hand, and I honestly couldnโ€™t do it without them. They are the heart and soul of Kintsugi Art Studio, and Iโ€™m so lucky to have them by my side.
