Many of us dive straight into choosing a design style when we think about our new home.
While that’s important, space planning should always be the first step in your interior design journey.
A well-thought-out spatial layout — focusing on how you’ll use the space in the long run and the natural flow of movement — creates a home that not only looks beautiful, but feels effortless to live in every day.
In this single view of the project, we analysed the spatial flow and the family’s lifestyle needs in detail. Here are the key changes made from the old layout to better support how they live:
✔ Repositioned the kitchen entrance
✔ Added an enclosed study room
✔ Introduced a mini pantry for the water dispenser
✔ Repositioned the bath doorway to free up a kids’ play area
✔ Added mirrors to enhance natural light & perceived spaciousness
✔ Designed an extendable dining table + island for hosting and storage
Small spatial shifts, big livable impact.
