Given design brief and requests on composition is clear and specific, so the smooth process helped to make up for the tight timeline. Thankful for the opportunity and wishing the recipient success in his future endeavour.

Portrait 1 (“Hope” Series)

A quick throwback on the process of this painting that started early this year and completed in time for March’s exhibition at

It was a painting that planned to complete during and post COVID pandemic period but had delayed due to juggling with day work.

Reflection on life. In many ways we have experienced constant struggle in keeping stress and frustration in check while holding on hopes. Amidst despair, we move forward, hence the silent perseverance. The facial expression from our frontline warriors such as doctors and nurses during the pandemic tells it all and it also applies to all of us. We are not heroes but in our own way we face our battles upfront in our own lifetime.

Located at Tanjong Pagar area of Singapore, we celebrate the beauty of urbanisation and architectural work of our designers and master planners. Whether through reinterpreting via abstract perspectives, lines or realism, we discover the colours of our city through our own art mediums.

In the festive season of the western Halloween, you might want to challenge your courage to visit the scary "hell" exhibition in Haw Par Villa at night. And you will be able to see the light show which starts at 7pm onwards. It was officially launched in July 2021 after more than a year, starting from design brief, storyboard conceptualising, and finally to ex*****on, animation sequence and gobo testing. The last phase was rather challenging to make sure artworks fit perfectly into the undulating walls. It was a challenging task but we managed to do the image mapping with much needed accuracy.

Thanks to Illuminating Asia SG and Martin Professional for the opportunity to collaborate together. And thank you to Journeys Pte Ltd and Singapore Tourism Board for having us on board on this project.

Taking this opportunity to share with you some of the scenes and works behind the artwork for Haw Par Villa Light Show.

PART 1:
The scenes are represented by the 4 key ideas: --

Every project is a beautiful journey and thankful that despite all the challenges faced, we managed to work as a team with owners, contractors and suppliers to bring them to completion. Everyone played very important roles, down to every trades and suppliers. We cannot reach to where we are without them.

Thankful that "P+J House" is selected as one of the finalists in the Private Home category for Interior Design Confederation (Singapore) (IDCS)'s Design Excellence Awards 2023.

Thankful that owners have given much trust to allow some creative explorations and experimental ideas that is actually for greater purpose to solve technical issues on site.

Osaka Art exhibition - Art!Art!Osaka
| Part 1 |

Chanced upon the exhibition of local artists in Daimaru at Osaka during February. It’s well displayed and organised. They even have a board indicating dates of which artists are around. It’s a pleasure to get to know .

Many of the works exhibited are sold. Seems like there’s some positivity in the art scene here. All the best and congrats to all the budding artists! Ganbette!

Another Throwback.
The start of 2023 went by fast with mad rush of projects clearing before the Chinese New Year. But a good start - Another painting sold to someone who appreciates the meaning behind this artwork and the honest portrayal of a quintessentially local scene of Singapore.
