The open shelves bring together curated pieces and everyday coffee essentials, making the pantry feel less like a utility zone and more like part of the home.
另一侧以日式障子门为灵感的木框玻璃门，柔和地连接厨房空间；细腻的曲线与立体摆饰，则平衡了整体简洁的线条感。

A corridor doesn’t have to be just a passageway.
Here, we used the ceiling design, concealed cove lighting and feature walls to create a stronger sense of depth and direction — giving the corridor its own identity while keeping the overall space warm and understated.

The timber feature walls add warmth and continuity, while the recessed ceiling and soft cove lighting subtly guide the eye towards the artwork at the end. Rather than adding details for the sake of decoration, each element is designed to frame the journey through the home and connect the different spaces together.

走廊不只是连接不同空间的通道。
我们通过天花设计、隐藏式灯槽灯光与特色墙面，营造出更丰富的层次感与空间方向，同时保持整体温暖、简约的氛围。

木饰面带来温度与连续性，天花与柔和的灯槽灯光则自然地引导视线，最后落在尽头的艺术品上。每一个设计元素都不是为了装饰而装饰，而是为了让走进家的每一步，都成为空间体验的一部分。

HOW DO WE CREATE BETTER HOMES IN A CHANGING MARKET?

The market has changed — not just in renovation, but across many industries. People are becoming more thoughtful about how they spend, and businesses have to rethink how they create value.

For us, that doesn’t mean doing less.

It means thinking differently.

A beautiful home doesn’t always need to cost more. Sometimes, it’s about changing the layout, exploring alternatives, or finding a solution that complements how someone actually lives — instead of simply copying what’s already been done. 🏠

And we believe designers should think the same way.

How can you use the skills you already have to create better solutions, better experiences, and better value?

At R INTERIOR, we’re looking to grow slowly and intentionally. We’re not looking to mass-hire or build a large team just for the sake of it.

We’re looking to bring on up to 2 designers who genuinely want to learn, contribute and grow. We’d rather take the time to find the right people and give them the mentorship, exposure and opportunities to develop properly. 🌱

Because the market may change. But good design shouldn’t stop.

Trading an unused bedroom for a statement dining experience.

We knocked down Bedroom 3 to open up this BTO footprint, turning standard apartment boundaries into an expansive dining sanctuary tailored for a homeowner who loves to host. Warm grains, textured pendants, and seamless transitions bring the whole room together.
我们将原本的 Bedroom 3 空间融入公共区域，打造出一个兼具聚会氛围与美感质感的专属餐厅。在温润的木纹包裹下，这里成了整个家最温暖的聚焦点。

This isn’t our usual post about home improvement or renovation tips.

But after a recent renovation incident made the rounds, we felt this was worth highlighting.

A renovation site may look unfinished or empty, but it is still someone’s home.

Being curious about someone’s renovation is understandable. But entering, looking around or taking photos without permission crosses a boundary.

This is simply a little awareness for homeowners, neighbours, contractors and designers.

If it’s not your home, ask before you enter.

Respect the space.
Ask first.
