A huge long piece of Ant Nest Agarwood, decor grade. It is very rare to find an Ant Nest Agarwood this big that can be used for decoration. Very often, they are found in smaller pieces for heating.

Fragrance wise, it is heavenly sweet and rich. If not used for decor, it can be cut or shave to put on a heater. Such a big piece can last a long time.

This incense is literally the closest you can get to savouring high quality white kynam incense at an affordable price. The moment you light and whiff this, that’s where the “WOW!!”, “OH MY GOODNESS”, “IMPOSSIBLE”, “THIS IS HEAVENLY” hits you. As a savvy connoisseur, I was personally mind blown by this special concoction.

How exactly is it possible? This is a highly guarded secret many do not wish for the public to be aware of in order to sell and profit it as wild. As transparency is my personal practice, as wild as it may look, smell like or feel like, the white kynam used here is naturally cultivated in Hainan China. To achieve this high concentration of white kynam flavour, only the first generation grafting was used. Naturally as in neither chemicals were used nor mechanical holes were drilled. They are naturally formed white kynam. This is through a grafting procedure in phytology. The moment branches are chopped off from the mother tree and grafted onto a young aquilaria plant, the kynam formation will start as it grows. Thus, there are no nasty chemicals or even holes drilled. Growth of the kynam is all pure and natural, resulting in a potent kynam formation.

The next secret is in the blend. A huge portion of naturally cultivated white kynam from China Hainan gives an indisputable explosive kynam rhyme from top to base notes. The other portion is Wild Vietnam Nha Trang blended in to boost the kynam notes, strengthening the base notes and bringing in the fragrances of wild.

Result is a mind-boggling fragrance you will think is wild kynam.

The aromatic fragrance of this Red Soil is out of this world that will send you to the moon and back. It will transcend your very soul. Heavenly rich in the infamous watermelon fruity and floral notes along with sweet honey connotation and hints of creaminess and soil. Highly op**te and intoxicating.

I have been playing Agarwood for a long time. In the end, there are only three kinds worth playing: Red Soil, Kynam, and Hainan. Likewise, many Agarwood connoisseurs with decades of experience have also reach the same conclusion. So here it is a rare batch of extremely old Red Soil Agarwood Branch Pieces from Vietnam Fu Sen. Only 19 grams for this batch.

千年奇楠，万年红土。This is an adage that translates to,”Kynam is a thousand years, Red Soil is ten thousand years.” In other words, a good old red soil is far older than kynam and its value is far higher than Kynam.

Pursat Agarwood, otherwise known as Baby Kynam/Kyara, is the best Agarwood grade that comes out of Cambodia Pursat Province. Any avid Agarwood collector will know that genuine Pursat Agarwood are extremely rare to come by. In fact, much rarer than Kynam and not many Agarwood connoisseurs have the blessing to encounter a genuine Pursat Agarwood. Its fragrance has a high similarity with Kynam. Having an opiatic floral fragrance that is very transient with each whiff that comes when you least expect it.

Here are some ring pieces that are cut out from bead quality sinking grade Pursat Agarwood. Sinking Pursat is by far much rarer than kynam.

Just smelling it unheated is heavenly. Now if you have never smelled Pursat, this is your best chance.

What is Pursat Agarwood?
Pursat Agarwood is produced only in Pursat Province, Cambodia. It is also known as Baby Kynam (菩萨棋, Bodhisattva Kynam) given the similar fragrant profile of Kynam. Not every Agarwood that comes out of Pursat Province is a Pursat Agarwood. Authentic Pursat Agarwood has a opiatic floral and rich honey fragrance, which is incomparable to ordinary Agarwood. A decade ago, Pursat Agarwood was common in the market. Nowadays, there is little in circulation, making it much rarer than Kynam. In the Agarwood circle, Kynam is easy to acquire, but Pursat Agarwood is very difficult to even encounter, much less acquire. Therefore, being able to acquire one can be said to be the dream of many connoisseurs and collectors, and it is also a blessing.

Pursat Agarwood is the best Agarwood grade that comes out of Cambodia Pursat Province. Any avid Agarwood collector will know that genuine Pursat Agarwood are extremely rare to come by. In fact, much rarer than Kynam and not many Agarwood connoisseurs have the blessing to encounter a genuine Pursat Agarwood. Its fragrance has a high similarity with Kynam. Having an opiatic floral fragrance that is very transient with each whiff that comes when you least expect it.

One of the hallmarks of Pursat Agarwood is the starry texture. The pores are always lighter in colour in contrast to the dark colour oil ducts, thus resulting in a texture with plenty of little white dots that resemble a night full of stars. This is unmistakable and unique to Pursat Agarwood. Familiarise yourself with this texture and you will be able to identify a genuine Pursat Agarwood.

This mala I have is the pinnacle of Cambodia Pursat Agarwood. 100% sinking grade. As mentioned, genuine Pursat Agarwood is extremely rare. A sinking version on the other hand is ridiculously rare, it is so much more scarce than a Kynam.

If you see an Agarwood mala that is 100% sinking, you have found yourself a treasure. The rarity of such pieces are very few in the world.

If you do see a Kynam mala that is 100% sinking, you have found yourself a treasure among all treasures. Such pieces are extremely rare. Literally a few in the world. An ancient Chinese adage goes, “It takes 3 lifetimes of virtues before one is given the chance of encountering kynam, 8 lifetimes if you want the chance to use it”. Only the chosen one bestowed by the gods will have the opportunity to own it. That’s to say, you do not get to choose kynam, kynam chooses you.
