517 sqft.

Enough space to live in comfortably, or feel completely overwhelmed by.

For this home, the goal wasn’t to fit more things inside. It was to make the space feel lighter, calmer, and easier to live in every day.

That’s why every design decision had to work harder, not louder.

One of the first homes we designed, and still one that feels timeless to us.

The kind of home you’d probably pause for in a magazine, not because it tries too hard, but because everything feels intentional and easy to live in.

For this 4-room HDB, the layout was opened up for better light and flow, while the kitchen was split between a coffee corner and wet area for the owner’s daily rituals.

Turns out, even IKEA noticed this living room.

Not because the pieces were expensive, but because styling changes how a space is experienced entirely.

These are still the classic Billy bookshelves, by the way.

The mirror ended up changing this space more than we expected.

In the day, it catches the natural light, and at night, it reflects the pendant lights and softens the dining area altogether.

One detail can shift the whole mood of a home.

What’s that one detail for you?

The kitchen is where food is made lovingly. So why not make your kitchen walls something you love?

Here are some projects that we worked on that allowed our clients to feel joy while cooking.

1. Floral tiled pattern
A muted grey base paired with floral motifs.
Soft, calm, and enduring—pattern without visual noise.

2. Handmade tiles
Handmade tiles add an artisanal feel.
Subtle texture, quiet character, and never too polished.

3. Black glass backsplash
Easy to clean, highly practical.
Bonus: write on it with a whiteboard marker to add personality.

4. Peranakan tile accent
A little goes a long way.
We love using Peranakan tiles as an accent—enough to charm, not overwhelm.

5. Muted pink mosaic
Delicate, tactile, and softly expressive.
A gentle way to introduce colour and depth.

A 3m dual vanity in a HDB

We achieved this through thoughtful space planning.

By gutting the original 4-room flat in Dawson, we were able to rework the layout and plan every detail around our client’s lifestyle and vision.

For this home in Dawson, we carefully planned the layout to make space for an ensuite bathtub, proving that luxury is possible even within an HDB footprint.

To balance the budget, we saved on built-in carpentry by using curtains and fixtures from IKEA. Thoughtful choices like these allowed us to focus on what mattered most to the homeowner.

We believe that with smart planning and intentional design, you can live luxuriously in an HDB.

This open-plan kitchen was designed around how our client actually lives.

She loves hosting but doesn’t do heavy cooking, so we created a layout that flows effortlessly: a bar table that joins the dining area and sofa, allowing friends to sit wherever they like while staying connected in the same space.

The grey palette keeps it classic and luxurious, while the cream sofa softens the mood and adds warmth.

Good design is about lifestyle first.
When a space reflects how you live,
it naturally becomes the heart of your home.

Even within a cohesive design language, there’s room for personal expression.
Each room in this minimalist home is tailored to its occupant through shifts in tone, warmth, and texture.
By embracing minimalism, you can choose more intentionally, so every detail holds deeper meaning.

Creating a minimalist, fuss-free space doesn’t begin with design. It begins with a question: What are you willing to let go of, so your home can hold only what truly matters? Resisting the urge to fill every corner can become the most powerful tool in your design process.

If calmness comes from doing less, what would you choose to leave behind?

Designed with restraint and intention, this home embraces negative space, softened forms, and gentle lighting to create a calm and grounded experience.

Curves and bends introduce a sense of smoothness, shaping both movement and atmosphere. Tactile finishes and warm materials add depth without detracting from the overall aesthetic. Light, too, can become material, casting gentle illumination that amplifies spaciousness.

Minimal, not for minimalism’s sake; but to create a home that feels timeless, serene, and quietly elegant.
