Singapore Sogetsu Association's 2nd cherry blossom installation at Gardens by the Bay by Mr. Bernard Tay (Riji) from 19th to 26th March.

Enjoy the bamboo strips intertwined among the rafters, circulating through the latticed windows, creating light and airy floating structures, enhanced by suspended washi paper which are interspersed with the taller cherry blossoms and greenery. Splashes of red and yellow gloriosa lillies as well as clusters of wild tamarind enhance and complete the ikebana.

The featured ikebana by Singapore Sogetsu Association's President, Mrs. Pandora Ip (Riji) highlights the softness of sakura with its gentle pinks juxtaposed against the solid black lines of suspended split bamboo, potraying a modern and contemporary uptake of ikebana, Sogetsu style.

19th ro 26th March Mr. Bernard Tay
26th to 2nd April Mrs. Tsng Bee Lan
2nd to 9th April. Ms. Josephine Chia

On 28th November 2025, the President of Singapore Sogetsu Association, Mrs. Pandora Ip was invited to demonstrate the art of Sogetsu Ikebana at the Mandarin Oriental.

This Christmas-themed event by Ikebana International Singapore Chp 135, paired Jazz together with Ikebana, resulting in a classy affair; whilst modern and elegant forms graced the stage with the use of many tropical plant materials, in addition to traditional Christmas materials, as well as dry materials.

Mrs. Pandora Ip's signature style, 6 in total, including a grand finale, was eminent with the visible use of self-created metal structures and self-made vases.

The colours white, silver and red were prominent throughout the demonstration, and the use of bamboo strips for the grand finale produced a ribbon-like effect, which was perfect for Christmas!
