A low chair sits by the glass, surrounded by filtered light, linen, dark timber and old vessels — objects with weight, placed against a landscape that feels soft and moving.

It is a layered space, but not a noisy one.
The stillness comes from the balance between what is inside, and what is allowed to remain outside.

Shaped around the clients’ memories of Japan, this living space takes on a quieter language, part Japanese restraint, part brutalist weight.

Soft curtains filter the afternoon light, while low furniture, raw textures, muted tones, and dark silhouettes create a sense of calm that feels almost suspended.

The space is not designed to be loud or decorative, but to hold stillness — where the garden, the shadows, and the objects in the room slowly become part of the same composition.
