From a shared bathroom hack to custom bag displays, here are the final 3 layout changes we made in our 146sqm Tampines home.

We reworked the master bathroom into a Jack-and-Jill layout, making nighttime bathroom trips easier without dark corridor walks.

We brought work closer to family life by opening up the main hall and creating a subtle WFH nook right beside the couch.

And instead of hiding our favourite accessories away, we built full-height dark timber wardrobes with a dedicated, lit glass display for our hand-picked bags.

The result? More space to move, better flow, and a home that finally works for the whole family.

When the kids said they could finally run around freely, we knew we had fixed the regrets from our first home. ❤️

Our first home was rushed and came with plenty of layout regrets. So for this 146sqm Tampines Executive Apartment, we took a different approach — unlearning what didn’t work and designing with intention.

From a dark, timber-toned foyer that creates a calm sense of arrival, to reworking the helper’s room to double the kitchen space, every move was made to improve how the home actually lives.

And this time, we didn’t skip the little luxuries — a built-in pot filler, concealed U-trap pipes, and Taj Mahal sintered stone surfaces to give the kitchen that extra something.

In the bedroom, luxury is defined by atmosphere and practical restraint. We incorporated a built-in storage bed frame to maximize floor space without adding visual clutter.

Material selection is where functionality meets aesthetic restraint 🧱 By continuing the exact same textured laminates across both the wardrobe and feature walls, we created seamless visual continuity throughout the condo.

The fluted panels add rich tactile interest while serving a dual purpose, keeping heavy appliances and private doorways completely hidden for an uninterrupted, hotel-like flow ✨

Here is how we transformed a standard 1-bedroom at Forett into a gallery-inspired home tailored for a frequent traveler. Coming home after long flights demands a space that genuinely helps you reset.

To achieve that calm, gallery-inspired atmosphere, we paired raw concrete textures with matte surfaces and dark wood accents. The concrete feature wall creates a bold focal point, while concealing the framed TV within the artwork backdrop.

It’s a perfect balance between brutalist warmth and functional minimalism.

When we first stepped into this one-bedroom unit at Forett, it was a standard blank canvas—functional, but lacking character and spatial clarity. For a homeowner who travels constantly for work, returning home needed to feel like stepping into a serene, top-tier boutique hotel.

We set out to reconfigure the layout: converting the study into a high-capacity storage suite, introducing a raw concrete feature wall, and integrating hidden doorways behind fluted panels.
