Our snowskin mooncakes are thoughtfully crafted without shortening, preservatives or stabilizers.

Instead of the shortening commonly used in conventional snowskin, our handmade snowskin is carefully formulated with a special blend of four different types of flours and healthier fats, creating a wonderfully soft, smooth and QQ texture.

We also keep sweetness to a minimum, using only a small amount of trehalose in our recipe. Beyond providing gentle sweetness, trehalose helps the snowskin retain moisture and stay soft for longer.

Last night dinner:

1. Black pomfret fillet in garlic chilli sauce

2. Stir-fried organic cauliflower

3. Superior Shark Fin soup

Black pomfret is air-fried till crispy then drizzled our special family blend of garlic chill sauce

The hearty shark fin soup was cooked with chicken broth then added chunky shark fin, dried scallops, sh*take mushrooms (rehydrated), black fungus and shredded chicken. Just before serving, beaten eggs and cornstarch solution was added.

It's not easy to find good and honest durian sellers. "𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀" is one of the few shops which I buy my durians from.

Last week, I discovered another gem seller "𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻" that is nearer to my place. And the owner turned out to be the brother of "𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀".

Both "𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻" and "𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀" offer good quality durians at reasonable price. They have a great variety of durians for you to choose from, from the popular MSW, Red Prawn, to the less common and rare ones e.g. Tekka, 千里香, S17. Just let the the friendly owners know your taste preference, and they will pick the best durians for you.

Capri (甲必利 / 白玉珍珠) is a unique and highly regarded Penang durian cultivar. It is known for its ivory-white flesh, silky creamy texture, and balanced sweet-bitter flavour. What sets Capri apart is its distinctive alcoholic undertone—often described as reminiscent of aged rum, brandy, or fermented fruit—which adds depth and complexity to every bite.

Capri durian is not as widely available in Singapore as not many sellers bring in durians from Penang. And "Rolling Durian" is one of the trustworthy seller who brings in good quality durians and lesser known durian varieties.

Thanks to "Rolling Durian", I managed to get a taste of Capri, a prized Durian cultivar from Penang.

我们家的粽子是我母亲独创的, 在外找不到同样的味道。所以怀念妈妈的味道，就得自己动手包。
我家的粽子内馅满满，充满了炸蒜和油葱酥的香味。肉馅咸香，微甜。

我们家的肉粽之所以特别是因为我母亲结合了娘惹，福建，潮州 和广东肉粽的元素。

福建元素：冬菇, 虾米, 栗子

潮州元素：芋泥 (双拼)

娘惹元素： 三层肉丁, 冬瓜糖, 芫荽粉, 香兰叶

广东元素：白色糯米用盐和蒜头调味
