Today I’m still soaking it all in—our messy play session was a huge success! 🎉

Looking back, I honestly can’t believe I pulled it off on my own. From planning the stations, setting up the colorful taste-safe materials, to watching little hands explore with so much curiosity and joy—it was all worth it. 💛

The best part? Everything I had imagined in my head actually came to life. The setup, the flow, the energy—it all came together more beautifully than I expected. And the kids? They were truly enjoying themselves—laughing, exploring, getting gloriously messy. It was pure magic.

One of the most rewarding parts was seeing my own son right in the middle of it all—not just playing, but being my little assistant 🥹. He helped set up, guided the younger ones, and added so much heart to the whole experience. Watching him step into that role so naturally made me feel incredibly proud. 💕

This session reminded me that the messy moments are often the most meaningful—and sometimes, the things we quietly dream up turn out to be exactly what was needed. ☺️

話說2條友仔一齊發高燒病完之後,食哂西藥仲有痰。最尾嘅痰超難搞,呢個時候我就出呢個湯,青蘿蔔有陣苦澀味,但功效真係好。所以今次我加左個蘋果,有效整走個青蘿蔔味。

青紅蘿蔔瘦肉湯

份量:3–4人

材料:
青蘿蔔 — 1條
紅蘿蔔 — 1條
粟米 — 1條
蘋果 — 1個(唔去皮)
蜜棗 — 2粒
瘦豬肉 — 250克
陳皮 — 1塊
清水 — 2.5公升

做法:

1. 將瘦肉汆水後洗淨,備用。

2. 青蘿蔔、紅蘿蔔、粟米切件。蘋果唔使去皮,但要洗乾淨、刮走表面蠟,再切件。

3. 陳皮浸軟,用匙羹刮走內層白色囊膜。

4. 蜜棗洗淨,備用。

5. 將2.5公升水倒入煲中,加入青蘿蔔、紅蘿蔔、粟米、蘋果同陳皮,煮滾。

6. 水滾後加入豬肉同蜜棗,再次煮滾。

7. 轉中小火煲約1個半小時,暖飲。

After both my kids came down with a high fever and recovered, they were still left with lingering phlegm, even after finishing their medication. That last bit of phlegm was especially stubborn. So I turned to this healing soup. Green radish has a slightly bitter taste but is known for its excellent properties in clearing heat and resolving phlegm. To balance the flavor and make it more kid-friendly, I added an apple—it really helps mellow out the radish’s bitterness.

突然回顧一下呢年,我發現我仔真係好識玩。記得我仔1歲時,好鬼怕醜,黎到新加坡嘅water play,好驚。嗰一下,我同自己講,我要將佢變成一個好識玩嘅人😂

而家叫佢上山下海,有幾刺激有幾刺激,原來係我教出黎🤣🤣🤣身教真係好重要‼️

Looking back on this past year, I realized—my boy really knows how to have fun! I still remember when he was just 1, super shy and totally freaked out by water play when we first got to Singapore. At that moment, I told myself, 'Okay, mission: turn him into a fun-loving kid!'

Fast forward to now—he’s all about adventures, from climbing hills to splashing in the sea. The more thrilling, the better! And guess what? It’s all me—I raised a little thrill-seeker! Proof that leading by example totally works!

我的小朋友從小就喜歡喝湯🥣,這對我來說是個大大的幫助,尤其是在他們小時候經歷不愛喝水🥛的階段。今天,我想和大家分享一款我堅持每週煮一次的湯,過去六個月來,它在增強我孩子的免疫力方面發揮了神奇的作用!当新加坡天气特别热时,我会冷藏起来当汽水饮用。
My children have loved drinking soup since they were little. It has been a lifesaver, especially during their toddler years when they went through a phase of refusing to drink water. Today, I want to share a special soup that I’ve been making once a week for the past 6️⃣ months—it’s been amazing for strengthening my children’s immune system!❤️❤️
