Roses, hydrangeas, baby’s breaths… and the list of flowers goes on. What does your choice of colours for flowers this Valentine’s Day say about you or the person you’ll be gifting it to? We are here to help shed some light on the different colours we use for our flowers in the Valentine 2022’s collection.
Roses: Red for love, desire and romance, white for purity, black for new beginnings, pink for appreciation, blue for mystery, purple for love at first sight or majesty, lilac to mean you want your relationship with the recipient to blossom, peach to express sincerity and gratitude, and yellow represents joy and happiness.
Hydrangeas: Blue to symbolise apology, pink for heartfelt emotions, purple to express desire to understand, and white to abundance, grace and boasting.
Baby’s Breath: White indicates unity and spirituality, blue for honesty and respect, pink conveys gentleness and your emotions, purple represents beauty and royalty, yellow portrays cheerfulness, orange for optimism, and lastly, red signifies love and romance.
Additionally, foliages in our arrangements are to give the bouquet an overall lush, green and natural look. These plants are able to enhance the colours of the flowers among them, and yet still maintain its overall natural look.
