It’s an honour to be one of the floral designers to exhibit and demonstrate my works at Takashimaya 30th anniversary celebration.

“Floral Extravagance” kickstarts on 8th March with Harijanto’s Haribana book launch. From 9th to 12th, other than the exhibits, there are floral demonstrations and workshops, and on the 11th, feel the heat and excitement at the live floral design competition happening from 1pm to 315pm.

Let the positive vibes flow! See you there!

It's an honour to win FREESIA's inaugural organic challenge, the Organic Hand-tied Bouquet, in April 2022.

All materials used in this design were biodegradable and compostable. The challenge was to find methods/materials that are friendly to our environment.

I used to be torn between this craft and its environmental impact. I aim to cut down on wastage and one-time-use materials, and to recycle materials if possible. Fast forward to Aug 2021, I joined 'Organics: Sostenibles con Flores' - an online course led by renowned masters, Gregor Lersch & Hitomi Gilliam, to re-learn my craft in a greener way. I'm even happier to see this effort continues to flourish with FREESIA*.

To be upfront about my commercial works, they are not fully/highly organic yet. But, I'm now armed with better knowledge and will continue to look for better ways/methods to overcome some of the challenges.
