Kid’s room - Building a space that honors our toddler’s imagination today while quietly preparing for her interests tomorrow.

Combining bold, playful accents with functional, modular furniture to ensure the room remains a perfect fit as she transitions from picture books to passion projects.

The living room in the undisputed heart of the home.❤️
We wanted the space to feel intentionally warm and calm by balancing with tactile contrasts: smooth leather armchair, natural oak wood and soft fabrics. Creating a sense of depth and coziness into the space.

There’s something about a two-tone wall that instantly elevates a small space. That’s why I love using it across my projects. 🤭

These sage wall tiles were the initial inspiration for the palette, and the solid oak countertop provides a natural contrast that adds a layer of warmth to the powder room.

When I started planning our kitchen, I’ll admit I was a little skeptical about going with IKEA. I think many interior designers are. It often gets a reputation for looking generic, with limited flexibility and a “one-size-fits-all” feel, which goes against the instinct of designing something tailored to a space. But after getting a few quotes for a fully custom kitchen, we quickly realized the price was quite insane for what we wanted to spend on this home.

What changed my mind was the consultation at . The process was surprisingly efficient, after selecting the materials and configuration, they generated a 3D perspective, technical drawings, and a quotation on the spot. (Being an ID definitely helped speed up the consultation since I already had a clear idea of the layout and materials in mind.)

I remember joking during the session that if kitchens can be completed this efficiently in one meeting, I might soon be out of a job. Thankfully, good design still involves a bit more than clicking boxes on a screen. Sometimes it’s simply about finding the right balance between aesthetics, practicality, and budget. A mantra I keep in mind for every project. 🤓

Get the look:
Ikea kitchen cabinet: NICKEBO, matt grey-green
Backsplash: Sevilla KitKat, vintage white from .factory
Counter top: KASKER, light grey/beige marble effect quartz

I’ll also share more in a future post and break down the real pros and cons of using an IKEA kitchen, stay tuned!

A home away from home, and my very first project in Belgium.

This duplex apartment in Grimbergen feels like a luxury of space, especially coming from Singapore where every square foot counts. After renovating our first apartment back in SG, we knew exactly what we wanted to repeat…and what we didn’t.

Starting over with new contractors and vendors wasn’t always easy, but we took the leap. So grateful we can finally call this place home. 💛

More photos coming up next 😉

Clementi Park. Study Room

The most remarkable transformation in the apartment is undoubtedly the study room. We converted what was once an outdoor whirlpool bath area into a fully functional study. Swipe to see what it looked like before. 🤓

I know I’ve kept you all waiting for an update, and here it is! I’ve been quietly reflecting and planning the next chapter for

After seven years of pouring my heart into every project, I’ve realized it’s no longer just about surviving or chasing the next big milestone. It’s about creating spaces that truly bring me joy, without sacrificing precious time with my family.

In the coming months, I’ll be making a bold transition, taking international 😂 let’s start with Belgium first. I’m very excited (and a little nervous) to step into new markets and embrace this next stage of growth. I think it’s going to be challenging, but the best is yet to come. 🤓✌🏻
