🌿 Yahoooo! New stock has arrived! 🧺

Handwoven Natural Mats from Inle Lake, Myanmar 💚

A little piece of Inle Lake has arrived in Chiang Mai.

Each mat is handwoven by artisans using a natural plant that grows in the waters of Inle Lake. The natural material gives the mats a beautiful earthy texture and a naturally cool, comfortable feel.

And they’re not just beautiful… they’re wonderfully versatile. ✨

15 cm | THB 150
🌿 Table insulation
🌿 Display & decoration
🌿 And many little uses around your home

46 cm | THB 400
🌿 Chair mat
🌿 Meditation
🌿 Floor sitting
🌿 Home decoration

56 cm | THB 600
🌿 Comfortable floor sitting
🌿 Meditation
🌿 A beautiful statement piece

Every piece is slightly unique because it is made by hand, not by machine.

Behind these mats is a family of four from Taung Poke Ni village, Inle Lake. Their main livelihood is farming, and weaving gives the family another source of income during difficult times. They are also sharing this skill with displaced people from Loikaw, helping create opportunities for others in their community.

A Little Care for Your Pann Nann Ein’s Journal

Handmade things need a little extra care, especially during the rainy season. 🌧️

Our Pann Nann Ein journal is made with natural, handmade materials, so we gently care for it with light and keep it away from moisture.

Meet the hands and heart behind Amazing Grace

At Amazing Grace, old newspapers, soda tabs, fabric scraps, and leftover wood are given another chance to become something new.

Founded by Naw Eh Wah in 2012, Amazing Grace is also a place where women and people with disabilities can learn, create, earn, and grow together.

We’re grateful to have their creations at Padumaroot, and to share a little part of their story with you.

Because sometimes, a second chance is all we need to make something beautiful.

Shumawa is now at Padumaroot. 🌸📖

Shumawa speaks of the timeless beauty of a Burmese girl.
A beauty you could sit and admire for hours, yet somehow, never feel like you’ve seen enough.

Inspired by the beautiful artwork and visual language of the 1950s Shumawa magazine, this book brings a little piece of Burmese vintage culture into your hands.

It’s more than a notebook. Inside, you’ll discover carefully selected vintage-inspired poster designs, turning every page into a little piece of the past to discover, collect, and keep.

A little nostalgia. A little beauty.
A little piece of Burma to carry with you. 🌿

Thoughtfully handcrafted by the wonderful artisans of Pann Nann Ein, with care and love in every detail.
