YEN TING CHO Studio produces artworks and designs for fashion accessories, interiors & exteriors.

YenTing Cho’s abstract patterns are created from a bespoke software programme that uses body movement to reconstruct personal digital information. The resulting multi-layered patterns are unexpected, dynamic and individual. Rebelling against traditional symmetry, Yen-Ting Cho's unique patterns on a range of silk and wool scarves and interior products create a distinctive aesthetic and special mood.

這次 Core Collection 採用了全新的材質，不僅帶來更加柔軟、舒適的觸感，也讓圖案的漸層、色彩與細節得以更加細膩地呈現。

如何讓材質自然流動、完整呈現圖案的細節與色彩，成為我們在每一次拍攝中不斷嘗試與調整的重要課題。

從布料折疊、光線反射到圖案的呈現，透過不斷嘗試與調整，以最好的狀態，將商品與圖案的細節分享給大家。

📸 Behind the Scenes: Core Collection

Material is one of the defining elements of the Core Collection.

This collection introduces a new fabric that offers an even softer, more comfortable feel while allowing the gradients, colours, and intricate patterns to be expressed with greater depth and subtlety.

Capturing the fabric’s natural movement while faithfully presenting every detail of the patterns and colours became one of the greatest challenges throughout the shoot.

From carefully arranging each fold and refining the lighting to finding the perfect angle for every design, every detail was thoughtfully considered and refined to present the collection at its very best.

We can’t wait to share the new Core Collection with you soon. ✨

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth yesterday. We look forward to welcoming more visitors today.

Our 2027 ‘Mirrored’ Collection explores more than the world we see—it reflects our emotions, memories, and imagination. Just as light creates reflections, refractions, and overlapping images as it passes through different mediums, our experience of the world blurs the boundaries between time and space, reality and imagination.

Through each original pattern, the collection embraces multiple perspectives, inviting us not only to see the world differently, but also to discover new ways of understanding ourselves.

✨很高興迎接來自輔仁大學織品服裝學系高元龍老師、嶺東科技大學時尚學院的張懋岑來訪工作室。一隔數年，倫敦之後再見 😍

✨ We were delighted to welcome guests from the Department of Textiles and Clothing at Fu Jen Catholic University and the College of Fashion at Ling Tung University to our studio.

兩位都是我 RCA 的學弟，從過往在英國皇家藝術學院（RCA）的求學經驗，到今日各自在設計教育與實務領域中的投入，跨越不同階段的交流，也持續延伸出新的連結。如今，工作室的設計團隊中，也有由他們培育的新一代設計人才，讓知識、經驗與創作能量在不同世代之間持續流動。

From shared experiences studying at the Royal College of Art (RCA) to our continued contributions across design education and professional practice, these connections have continued to grow across generations. Today, members of our studio team are also among the next generation of designers nurtured by these institutions, allowing knowledge, experience, and creative thinking to be passed on and continually evolve.

這次交流中，我們也進一步討論產學合作的可能性，思考設計教育如何與產業實務彼此呼應，並為下一代創作者創造更多接觸、實踐與成長的機會🌏

During this visit, we explored opportunities for future industry–academia collaboration, discussing how design education and professional practice can better support one another while creating more opportunities for emerging designers to learn, experiment, and grow. 🌏

我們期待，這些來自學界與業界之間的對話，不只是經驗的分享，也能引發更多共鳴、反思與影響，持續拓展設計教育與創作實踐的可能。

We believe that meaningful dialogue between academia and industry goes beyond sharing experience—it inspires reflection, encourages new perspectives, and opens up new possibilities for design education and creative practice.

Making its debut at Shoppe Object, our 2027 “Mirrored” Collection features 14 original fine wool scarves inspired by reflections, refractions, and overlapping perspectives. Blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination, each pattern invites a new way of seeing the world—and ourselves.

We will also unveil new additions to our Core Collection, crafted in a soft, comforting texture that celebrates life.

Drawing on our archive of past visuals, research, and creative work, we distill fresh narratives and viewpoints by reorganizing and expanding our ideas.
Looking back constantly sparks new inspiration, bringing our vision into focus step by step. Building on this research, we’re now drafting the outline for what comes next..⏳

Our major public engagement activities for the monumental public art project “Gateway to Taiwan: Island Tales” at Taoyuan International Airport are coming to a close.

📰 我們推出季刊與大家分享近期的幾個精彩時刻，從民眾透過數位互動參與共創，開啟更寬闊的視覺想像；到英國皇家藝術學院官方 IG 推介本件作品與多彩的台灣故事；也包括我們創作《矩陣》的過程。同時，我們也持續推動藝術與教育之間的交流，讓公共藝術不只停留在作品完成的那一刻，而能在不同場域中，繼續與公眾展開對話。

In our latest quarterly newsletter, we look back on several recent highlights: from digital interaction and co-creation activities, opening up broader visual imagination; to an international feature on the project and Taiwan’s colourful stories. We also reveal the creative process behind a new artwork, “Matrix”. Meanwhile, we explore the connection between art and education, anticipating that public art does not end at the date of its completion, but continues to intrigue and create conversations.
