我覺得楓樹之所以動人，不只是因為葉色的絢麗，更因為她承載著歲月留下的痕跡，就像我的創作歷程。
每一片楓葉皆由皮革手工裁製、塑形與繪染完成，讓橙紅、金黃與微綠的色彩自然交錯，如同季節更迭時緩慢暈染的光影。葉片邊緣細緻起伏，保留了楓葉被風輕拂過的姿態，也展現皮革獨有的溫潤質感。
而這次，我覺得最特別的是樹幹的部分。
幾經思考，我選擇運用皮革天然的皺摺、紋理與堆疊塑造而成。那些細微的起伏像是真實樹皮經年累月形成的裂痕，記錄著風雨、陽光與時間流經的軌跡。而皮革在反覆塑形後所產生的自然皺褶，讓樹幹多了一份生命感，也讓原本靜止的材料彷彿擁有了生長的力量。
創作過程中最開心的莫過於在探索皮革與自然之間的連結。
將原本厚實沉穩的材質，透過雙手轉化為枝葉舒展、樹幹蜿蜒的模樣，讓每一道皺摺都成為時間的紋路，慢慢地將這一切的溫柔，收藏在心中。
What felt most special to me in this piece was the trunk.
After much thought, I chose to shape it using the leather’s natural wrinkles, textures, and layered structure. The subtle undulations resemble the fissures that form in real bark over the years, carrying the traces of wind, rain, sunlight, and the passage of time. Through repeated shaping and molding, the leather developed its own organic creases, giving the trunk a sense of life and making an otherwise still material seem as though it possesses the power to grow.
What I enjoy most about the creative process is exploring the connection between leather and nature.
Taking a material that is inherently substantial and grounded, and transforming it by hand into winding trunks and outstretched branches, each wrinkle becomes a mark of time. Little by little, I gather all of this quiet tenderness and keep it close to my heart.
