New spellbook case for a pocket tarot deck! 🖤📖✨
​I just finished another curious pouch for tarot deck using the pattern by ElenDan!

​My target deck was smaller than the standard size the pattern is designed for, so I made a tiny technical adjustment: instead of altering the pattern math, I simply switched to a 1.75 mm hook instead of the recommended 2.5 mm.

​Here are the details of this project:
🪄​Yarn: 175 m / 100 g (exactly as specified in the pattern)
🪄​Hook: 1.75 mm (instead of 2.5 mm)
🪄​Pattern changes: none at all! The stitch counts and rows are 100% true to the original tutorial. The only minor adjustment I made was adding 5 extra stitches to the button loop to fit my chosen button.

​Downsizing hook size works so perfectly for smaller decks, as long as the deck's proportions match the standard cards. Still, I highly recommend trying the pouch onto your specific deck as you go, especially during the foundation chain and the first row. The starting chain and first row should comfortably wrap around the deck from three sides. Love how this tiny grimoire turned out! 🩸✨

I realized I haven’t shown my signature detailed dollhouses in a while. To be honest, I rarely make them these days. Due to the Trump tariffs, I haven’t been shipping them for more than a year now, as most of my orders used to come from the US.
