🇬🇧 Buckingham Palace 🏰
Buckingham Palace — the heart of the British monarchy and one of the most iconic landmarks in London. Standing in front of its grand gates, adorned with gold and royal crests, it’s impossible not to feel a sense of awe. This is where royal ceremonies take place, and where the Royal Family waves to the public from the famous balcony.
👑 Since 1837, the palace has served as the official residence of the British monarch, starting with Queen Victoria. Inside, there are 775 rooms — including 78 bathrooms and 92 offices. It’s almost like a royal city within the city! And don’t forget to check the flag — if the Royal Standard is flying, it means His Majesty is home.
🚇 I arrived via one of the oldest lines of the London Underground. The stations themselves are like time capsules — with ornate signs, vintage tiles, and a sense of history running deep beneath the city streets.
🚶♀️ From the station, I walked through Green Park — a peaceful, leafy space in the heart of London. The path to the palace winds through shaded alleys and manicured lawns, creating a calm, cinematic lead-up to the royal gates.
✨ And when you first glimpse the palace through the trees — it’s magical. Guards in red uniforms, tourists waving flags, elegant architecture, and a stillness that reminds you: this is more than just a building.

If you’ve been here — did you feel the same magic?
