🍅These sweeties have been tossed in a beautiful olive oil, a sprinkle of salt and pepper, and a heavy hand of fresh garlic, and have hit a hot cast iron to toast a bit before becoming my very first savory jam!🍅

🍌 I have to admit it. 🍌

I have been sleeping on bananas. I don't really get excited about bananas. I tend to forget about them, if I'm being honest.

I.have.been.missing.out! I visited my mom and my sister last week and my sister had a fresh batch of banana jam out for tasting. I took one tiny taste and demanded the recipe!

I never thought I'd share these words!

This is pure American goodness. Every time I taste this, I think two things. Hear me out.
First, apple pie. 🤣 It's the spices! Oh man, it's absolutely perfect.
The next thing that enters my brain, with fury and then lingers and lingers and will not leave me alone, is PANCAKES. This jam needs pancakes. Trust me on this!

Just look at the flavor packed in this jar!

Fresh bananas, a sprinkle of nutmeg, a sprinkle of cinnamon, a splash of vanilla, and the secret ingredient-a sploosh of rum (okayitsnotasecret).

My newest addition, Banana Jam, will be on my shelf at Vintage Marketplace starting this Wednesday! Come and get some!

I gave up a couple of my quart jars to send some easy meals with my husband for work this week.
