Now, let’s be honest…

Fashion icon.
Professional vineyard supervisor… as long as it isn’t raining.

She may not herd sheep, but she keeps vineyard spirits high, greets every visitor like they’re her best friend, and reminds us that joy belongs in every row of vines.

Introducing Palm Royale! This started as someone else’s art that I found at a Goodwill. Perfectly fine, just not mine!

Today it’s a bold pink flamingo who showed up uninvited and became the whole party. Even her pearls sparkle!✨

“Meet Lucy. She is, in her own mind, a Princess — universally adored, mildly benevolent, and reserving her actual affection for a chosen few. She is also terrified of plastic bags and will bark ferociously at a Tuesday. This painting is my attempt to capture all of it: the chaos, the confidence, the absolute conviction that she is the main character.

I paint pet portraits for people all the time, and it hit me — why keep that in a frame when it could also live on your kitchen counter? So Lucy became the first in what I’m hoping turns into a full line of custom pet portrait candles. Yours could be next.

Hand-poured coconut-apricot wax, available in 4oz (20-hr burn) or 9oz (50-hr burn), in amber or clear glass with a gold lid made to be reused once the candle’s gone. Found at Goodwill Industries Intl. for $8. 💀

Added French posters using collage technique, acrylic paint, two wine bottles cut lengthways, and a neon light tube (that my son wired for me)— layered over a Paris print that almost ended up in someone’s trash.

This is what I love to do. I rescue things people discard and turn them into something that becomes a talking piece in your home.

The wine bottles are sliced and mounted flat. The neon traces a path through vintage French theater posters. Paint was poured, dripped, and splattered until Paris felt less like a souvenir and more like the city of lights!
