Merry Christmas !!

I am so grateful for so many things…. The small joys in life that still make us all happy, family near and far, the best neighbors that become best friends, a husband who cooks (and embraces 🥰), a job that entails helping others love their own homes more, the list goes on...

This time of year is a lot and wonderful all at the same time. This year I hit my own personal Goldilocks goal of not too much and not too little when it came to all of the things. And it made every moment better. I hope the same peace and magic of the season was there for you.

Happy first day of turning on the foot heater under your desk to all who observe! Am I the only one who notes the shift in seasonal temperatures based on whether or not I turn mine on?

I’ve logged so much time at this desk that I often wonder how things would be different if we hadn’t turned the room meant to be a dining room into my office/additional hang-out zone and swapped our living room for our dining room. This change has served our family so well, and I love creating smart solutions like this for my clients just as much.

Remember, your  home’s layout is often just a suggestion. 😉
