Soft, fluffy, and oh-so-delicious, these homemade rolls are perfect for any meal! Your family will love them! 🍞😋✨
Ingredients:
- 5 cups cake flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 packet yeast (10g)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup lukewarm milk
- 1/2 cup oil
- Butter or margarine for brushing
Directions:
1. Start by mixing your wet ingredients—boiling water, lukewarm milk, and oil—then sprinkle in the yeast. Let this sit for about 5 minutes to awaken those little yeast bubbles!
2. In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients: cake flour, salt, and sugar. Once the yeast mixture is bubbly and frothy, add it to the dry ingredients and give it a good stir.
3. Time to knead! Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 7-8 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise until it’s doubled in size—this should take about an hour.
5. When it’s ready, punch it down to release the air, then knead it again briefly. Divide the dough into small balls (about 12-14), and either line a baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with margarine or butter.
6. Let those little rolls rise again for about 15 minutes while you preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
7. Bake the rolls for 16-18 minutes, or until they’re golden brown, filling your kitchen with an irresistible aroma!
8. Once they’re out of the oven, brush them with butter or margarine while they’re still warm for that extra delicious touch.
