Whew… Iowa is definitely reminding us that summer is here. 🥵☀️

With the heat and humidity we’ve been having lately, I’ve found myself reaching for Lake Days a little more often. There’s just something about this scent that makes me think of being out on the water, a breeze coming off the lake, and spending the day soaking up the sunshine.

It’s quickly become one of the favorites from our Summer Collection, and honestly, I completely understand why. Fresh, airy, and everything I love about a Midwest summer wrapped up in one scent. 🌊

I’ve been a little quieter on social media lately, and honestly, that’s because life has been busy in the best way. ☀️

Between family time, baseball and softball games, church activities, and trying to soak up a little bit of summer, I haven’t spent quite as much time in the studio as usual.

But behind the scenes, something pretty exciting has been happening.

Over the last two months, Linden Street Studio has received 12 wholesale orders. Now, that might not sound like a huge number to some, but for this little business of mine, it’s a big deal. 🤍

It means more stores are choosing to carry our products. It means more people are discovering Linden Street Studio. And it means those late nights labeling, pouring, packing, and dreaming are paying off.

So while my summer has included plenty of ball fields, family time, and memory-making, it has also included a lot of gratitude.

Thank you for supporting this little Iowa business. Whether you've purchased from us, shared a post, shopped one of our retailers, or simply cheered us on, you're part of the reason we're growing.

Now excuse me while I enjoy the rest of summer before fall candle season sneaks up on me. 😉

Our Summer Collection is LIVE!

This collection was inspired by Midwest summers — backyard chats, lake days, golden sunsets, and all those little moments that make this season feel special. 💛

One quick note: I intentionally made smaller inventory batches for the website this season. I’m trying to be more mindful about not having a ton leftover at the end of summer, so if there’s something you’ve been eyeing… grab it while you can 👀

Once a scent or product sells out, there’s a good chance it’s gone for the season.

Love seeing posts like this. So excited that some of you were able to grab some goodies from our favorite little store.

Lake Days and Sun Soaked were the runaway hits from yesterday ☀️🌊 And my longtime OG favorite is still Iowa Sunsets. It's so good. Lot's of melts, candles and hand soap went out the door yesterday. You know its good when you are already pondering a reorder the first day they are on the shelves!

If you need a fresh hand soap for summer, we do have the seasonal scents in those too! Now I just have to make the very serious decision about which one is coming home with me 😂Come see me, I will be here until 7 tonight!

☀️ Final spotlight: Sun Soaked ☀️

This scent was inspired by those hot summer days that somehow turn into the most beautiful evenings — sandy toes, sunscreen, beach towels, lake trips, and staying outside until the sun finally disappears.

With notes of peach, pineapple, berries, coconut, and musk, Sun Soaked is fruity, warm, and sunshine-filled in the best way possible. 🌴🍑

Basically… if summer had a scent, this would be it. 💛

Kayla dropped these off Monday night and they are beautiful scents. And the labels themselves are gorgeous to look at too ✨

This scent was inspired by those slow summer nights spent outside — lawn chairs pulled into a circle, kids running through the yard, bags flying across the co****le board, and conversations that somehow last for hours.

With notes of lemon, bergamot, sage, sandalwood, and patchouli, Backyard Chats is fresh, warm, and a little earthy — the perfect mix for summer evenings at home. 🌿🔥

Honestly… this one just feels like summer in the Midwest.
