I did a vendor event today and as much work as it is to make things, haul things, set things up, be a literal business of one person, etc., …it never fails that when I see my table 100% ready to go, I am filled with pride. Like, “Hell yea… I did this!” 😄

I got these tempera sticks in the mail today and decided to try a silly little sketch. 😊

I tried them out on watercolor paper because I like how toothy it is, but I think it would’ve been interesting to put a layer of a watercolor color wash down first. The tempera paint sticks are a lot of fun to use. They feel like painting with lipsticks 😅

One of my favorite things about doing vendor events at various venues is that my setup changes slightly each time and I adapt it to the space I’m in. It keeps things spicy, especially when I’m doing this over and over 😅
