Wood Engraving Group Lesson

Thursday, September 10th at 1pm OR 5:30pm

Join us in this unique class where you get to design and create your very own custom cutting board.

Participants will receive a 9"x12" cutting board and will begin the class by creating your own design for the board. Stencils and drawing assistance will be provided. Once this step is completed, participants will receive instruction on how to engrave their designs into the cutting board using a wood burner. Participants will be able to practice the techniques to achieve the appearance of different textures to enhance their designs.

Participants will leave the class with their board completed, ready to use.

This is a great introductory class to engraving and is perfect to make personalized home decor for yourself or as a gift.

Have you been interested in taking a Pottery Wheel lesson?! Email us at [email protected] to book your appointment! This can be for beginners or someone who has taken classes in the past.

✨Our individual private pottery lessons are $75 per person.
✨Lesson includes a one-hour lesson on the pottery wheel with the instructor, with the clay prepared for working on the wheel to create an item such as a bowl, vase, or one of many other items.
✨Once the pottery item is made, it will need to dry and then Bella's Wishes will complete the first kiln firing.
✨Once fired, a return visit is required and basic glazing techniques will be provided. A final kiln firing is required.
✨A third visit is required to pick up your pottery. There is an approximate two week time between first firing and then another two weeks between the glazing process and receiving the final product.
✨The result of this lesson is one glazed pottery item.

Leather and Bead Bracelet Workshop w/ Crazy Cat Beads

In this fun workshop, you will learn how to make a leather and bead wrapped bracelet with high-quality gemstones or Czech glass beads.

Skills Learned:
1. Tools for jewelry making and how to use them
2. How to size bracelets for comfortable fit.
3. Design tips.

Choose from gemstones including:
• Jasper (various varieties)
• Rose Quartz
• Agate
• Sodalite and more.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
-Must pre-register online
-Class is open from 3 pm to 6 pm
-If you cannot attend this class date, you can schedule for another time (email for more information)
-Fee includes instruction and all materials to make one bracelet.
- Each bracelet will take between 60 and 90 minutes to complete.
-Skill level: Beginner- experienced

Come enjoy this special fall activity to make a decorative pumpkin on the pottery wheel.

This class will incorporate the pottery wheel, as each participant will receive step-by-step instructions on how to make a round, closed vessel. They will then be shown how to adapt the sphere into a pumpkin shape and sculpt a stem to attach to the top.

After this class is completed, the clay portions will be left to dry and go through the first kiln firing. At a later date, participants will be contacted to return and glaze their pottery. We will walk you through various technique to achieve different unique looks. The pottery will then go through its second firing and can be picked up 1 week from the glazing date.

This class is offered as an individual private lesson or small group. It will be available on Tuesdays in September and October starting 9/15 through 10/27 between 2 pm and 7:30 pm. You can pick what day and time works best, as we will email for day/time confirmation.

Our fall Outdoor Market will be Saturday, October 3rd from 10am - 3pm. We will have a variety of local vendors, artists, farm animals and local businesses.

Our first plant swap was so much fun that we have decided to do another one during the Outdoor Market! Stop inside Bella's Wishes from 10am and 3pm on Saturday, October 3rd and bring your plants to swap!

Introductory Pottery Workshop
Ages 6-11 OR 12-17

Join us in participating in this enhanced pottery workshop where students will learn the basics of pottery over the course of 5 weeks.

This workshop will breakdown the stages of clay and will cover key concepts such as hand-building, wedging, centering, pulling cylinders, and glazing.

Over the course of the 5 weeks, students will complete 3 projects: a pinch pot, a coil vase, and a mug thrown on the pottery wheel. Students will begin each class with instruction on the new material, then will work on creating their forms. All necessary materials will be provided during the classes.

Students will begin each class with instruction on the new material, then will work on creating their pieces. All necessary materials will be provided during the classes along with materials to take home.
