Today and every day, I'm incredibly thankful for the generations of brave men and women who have answered the call to defend our freedoms not only over the last 250 years, but also for those whose sacrifices laid the foundation long before. Because of their courage, we have the privilege to gather with our families, build our dreams, and celebrate the blessings of freedom.

As I spend today with the people I love, I'm reminded that these ordinary moments like laughter, fireworks and time together are extraordinary because they are free.

From my family to yours, thank you for supporting my little business and allowing me to create pieces that become part of your homes and your memories. Wishing you all a safe, joyful, and meaningful Fourth of July.

I came across the sweetest artist recently on Facebook, Studio314NOLA! This drawing of Ruby’s Roadhouse was her most recent post at the time. My dad loved this place so much. Two days before my first Father’s Day without my dad, I knew I had to have it.
