Mon-Fri: 10am-6pm
Saturday: 11am-3pm
Sunday: By Appt. Only

Words can’t explain what this achievement means for me!

No, the displays won’t be in… or the formal signage/logo/lighting installed but we are opening the doors so we can begin establishing ourselves with the local community.

I'm soooo excited to finally share some BIG NEWS !!!

Kassa Interiors is entering a new chapter and will soon be rebranding as House of Egret > an architectural design studio rooted in thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and timeless spaces.

Along with this transition, I'm also preparing to open the doors to a very special place: a 200+ Year-Old Historic Firehouse that will serve as our new creative home and headquarters.

I am so honored to be the very first tenant in this Historic Landmark and to boost the economy of Amityville and Long Island in general.

I have proudly signed the lease on this majestic building back in October of 2025.
As we prepare to open this month of January 2026, so many exciting things are happening and I want to share it with you all.

(in the heart of Amityville Village), around the corner from the Gazebo and across the street from Amityville school).

💗 🔨 A good designer is as good as their vendors and tradesmen. 🔨 💗

When my tile guys send photos of a finished job.
One of 18 projects on the books! This one might be small but oh so beautiful and cute as a button.

Next up, the fireplace insert to be installed and a custom walnut shelf with slide inserts for wine bottles and stemmed glasses for the wine niche!!!

Materials used:
Fireplace - Calacatta Marble beveled picket 4x8” tile
Wine nook - A smaller scale marble picket mosaic on a sheet

Grout: MAPEI - Avalanche (for both)

Although I personally am not a fan of metal edging - We did end up using a 3/8” white metal schluter for the wine nook that was carefully made flush with the plywood panel.

It looks so beautifully framed!!
