🍳🥓 Biscuits & Gravy Hashbrown Casserole 🥓🍳
Ingredients:
1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
1 lb breakfast sausage
2 cups frozen hashbrowns, thawed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1½ cups milk
1 packet (2.75 oz) country gravy mix
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
Directions:
Step 1: Cook the Sausage
1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Gravy
3️⃣ In the same skillet, whisk together the gravy mix and milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until thickened. Season with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Step 3: Assemble the Casserole
4️⃣ Spread the thawed hashbrowns evenly in the bottom of the greased baking dish.
5️⃣ Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the hashbrowns.
6️⃣ Evenly distribute the biscuit quarters on top of the sausage.
7️⃣ Pour the gravy mixture over everything, making sure the biscuits are coated.
8️⃣ Sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese for extra gooeyness!
Step 4: Bake & Serve
9️⃣ Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
🔟 Let it cool for a few minutes, then serve warm—perfect with extra gravy on the side!
