Here is another BrickHouse Curb Appeal Makeover! This transformation was on a very small budget, under $5k for a rental property! Whole house and deck Power-wash, paint, tree removal, new beds, compost, all new landscape, mulch, new front door, all new shutters, new lights, house numbers, garage scraped and painted, and soaker hoses on timers. So many other features would have been included, but being a rental property, budget was number one priority!

Working in the yard has been my zen space my entire life.. something about digging into the dirt, the sun, the cold water from the hose ( yes we really drank from the hose lol) and a cool breeze really is grounding. Creating a beautiful space brings joy each day!

Everyone should have a spot in their yard to rebalance and heal. It doesnt need to be extravagant.. just peaceful.

Here is a great hack for boosting your driveway’s appeal.. I had recieved an $80,000 quote to rip out my concrete driveway and replace it with asphalt.. This is my before and after for $600 and some elbow grease!

Feng shui principles are used to mitigate the life force flow through your home which impacts your life.. The use of a bagus map overlay allows you to address a particular area of your life.. so for wealth and prosperity it is the back left corner. The colors are reds and purples and items representing wealth and prosperity should be incorporated.

As a Feng Shui consultant and landscape designer I am able to integrate Feng Shui principles into my designs. On of the colors represent wealth and prosperty is purple, so at all entry points including mail I bring in purple plants, shrubs and perennials!

Best time of year after an early spring prep! Good pruning, soil prep with compost, holy tone, miracle grow and a good soak followed by black shredded mulch!
