It's such a fabulous week to come out and see us and this is such a great run down to get the most out of your day! Anderson is truly such an amazing town and it's really grown on me as I am out here more than ever as a vendor.

Don't forget to stop by the Bloom Madison County tent at anderson farmers market if you bring your kiddo for a $2 token good for fresh fruits or veggies (my personal favorite that my kiddos always nab are some Hodge Family apples! You can get two with one token!) Bonus is you also can snag a passport too and check out some amazing shops nearby!

If you have SNAP you can also do SNAP match up to $20 to go towards fresh fruits and veggies. So if you buy $20 of tokens with your SNAP card, you get $40 in tokens (the $2 tokens are only for fresh veggies and fruits but the $1 tokens can be used on breads, jerky, and any food at participating vendors that isn't served hot). It's a great way to help stretch that grocery budget

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS DOWNTOWN A-TOWN EVENT!

Plan your Saturday accordingly 🤌

You can start wherever and go in any order you like, pick up your passport at your starting location, carry it with you, get as many stamps, shop, visit, eat, drink, grab all your gifts/freebies/discounts/samples ect and enjoy a day with your people. All the businesses are ready to meet and serve you ♥️ We would also LOVE if you shared your experience online with photos and and tagged your stops. We'd love it so much, you'll get an extra entry to the big raffle for doing so 📸!

This is quite the undertaking, but with some strategy, intentionally planned snackage, STRETCHING, HYDRATION, and sheer will, I believe you can hit them all!

Several stops are right on top of each other and you won't have to move your car!
Here's some suggestions for your day. This is how I would roll if I was trying to hit as many stops with as little driving as possible, no requirements just a suggestion.

📍Anderson Public Library, Anderson Farmers Market, Naked Heart Yoga, LLC and White River Shiatsu all live right on the corner of Central. Park at the library and make your way around. The Toast Cafe is right around the corner if you're already hungered beyond the farmers market offerings!
Either stay parked or take a walk up main street!
📍 Studio Zen and Star Photo are neighbors. The Anderson Museum of Art is close too!
Keep your spot and keep walking, or hop in the car if you're sweating and need to rest those gams.
📍Oakley Brother Distillery, Rubys Cafe, Thyme Stamp Boutique and Dee & Nikki's all right in the same area! You definitely need a little sugar from Ruby's to keep you going by this time!
📍Cultured Urban Winery!
Time to drive !!! Give yourself plenty of time to hit these last few stops. Caffeine will be required at this time, don't give up, you can do it!
📍Jackrabbit Coffee and Little Shop of Floras ! It's Little Shop of Floras 1 year anniversary and they've got a whole planty holidayhoobilation over there! Don't sleep on these two stops!
Another quick drive!
📍 Buckskin Bikes they are little out there on their own but still well worth the drive and support!

When you've had enough, just leave your passport at your last stop of the day and we will collect them all up for the raffle drawing! Giant thanks to Naked Heart Yoga, LLC for creating this game plan!!!

Sneak peek at some of my fidget dragons ($15) I am debuting this weekend at Anderson Farmers Market ! I also have restocked axolotls, frogs and dolphins for the aquariums with brand new (and old favorite) color combos and options for all of them and restocked my pickle jar!

There's also a new $12 dragon design in a handful of color options (will be expanding that one) and if I can manage some time tonight a mini restock of triceratops (I'm out of a lot of favorite colors for that one).

Don't forget to come out from 9am-12pm and see us and some cool junior vendors, get those veggies, baked goods, locally made soaps, beautiful art and wind chimes, say hi to baby goats, snag some local plants and get to know an amazing community of people đź’–

Is your newsfeed suddenly full of families in all different states showing sludge coming out of their faucets or talking about losing water pressure after AI data centers started being built near their neighborhoods but not really anywhere else???

When did we agree to this becoming normal life???!!!

As of this week Google is even now fully AI ran and operated…..GOOGLE?!?!

I think what scares me most is how fast and quietly these AI data centers the size of literal towns are being built right in our backyards and out in the middle of nowhere too right?
Like Everywhere.
All around us.

I think most people barely even understand what AI fully is outside of it making funny photos and helping kids cheat on homework and suddenly these giant facilities are being thrown up around our neighborhoods at lightning speed and they say clean water will be a thing of the past becadue of it?

HUH

One Georgia AI data center alone reportedly used nearly 29 million gallons of water before residents realized it was even happening!!!!!

China is literally testing underwater AI data centers in the OCEAN right now which sounds like something straight out of a dystopian movie.

I don’t know…..Something about watching technology move this fast while normal people are still trying to fully understand what’s even happening around them feels deeply unsettling.

Here are some ways to make a difference just in your choices:

• Use search engines besides Google like DuckDuckGo or Ecosia
• Support local libraries, bookstores, and REAL human-created art and journalism.
• Actually read what’s being built in your city council meetings and community proposals because most people never do
• Teach your kids how to think critically online before AI-generated everything becomes impossible to separate from real life
• Support creators, photographers, writers, artists, and small businesses with actual humans still making things by hand.

Maybe the biggest thing we can do right now is stop letting ourselves be gaslit into thinking it’s weird to question massive changes happening around our homes, our water, and our communities… because the fact we’re this close to casually living in a real life Terminator storyline should probably concern more people than it does.

It's going to be a fabulous weekend to come out to the Anderson Farmers Market !

I also have a fresh batch of sting rays, working on new dragons, restocking axolotls and I made a batch of reusable washable water balloons! My kiddos tried out my first batch and had a blast and keep begging to use them again. They will be $3 each or 2/$5! If you have color preferences drop them below, I can always make more but I need to restock a lot and have custom orders so doing small batches of each thing right now
