62 days in the NICU. C-Pap to VapoTherm to High-Flow to regular oxygen to nothing. 3 lbs 5oz and 16” to 6 lbs 14 oz and 17.9” on discharge day. Lotsss of late nights, constant beeps, and miles driven. NICU life is something you truly can’t understand unless you’ve lived it. All to get us to Friday, November 3rd!

We were discharged and came HOME as a family of 3 for the very first time!🏡🫶🏼 It was quite the journey, and we give God glory for keeping His mighty hand on our precious boy! He had so many incredible nurses and doctors take care of him over the last 9 weeks. We are so grateful he never had serious concerns, is healthy, and has grown like a champ.

Now to settle into this new season of life with our perfect baby boy. ❤️ Feels very surreal to have him with us — we can’t wait to watch him continue to grow and walk with the Lord.

Thank you for the many prayers, gifts, food, and more over the last 2 months. It has meant so much to us! We are forever grateful.

In case you hadn’t heard yet… we welcomed our precious, perfect 3lb 5oz Jamison Parker into the world 2 weeks ago today! 🖤

He is a fighter and growing strong and doing well! We are thankful he is healthy — just a little early (about 10 weeks early). So, he’s spending time in the NICU to grow strong. We believe we will get to bring him home sooner than the doctors expect!

I’m also recovering well after a case of quick onset, severe pre-eclampsia/HELLP syndrome. God was so good to me, and had His protective hand on my life. For that, I’m forever grateful! Thankful to be with my amazing husband, and going into parenthood with our boy. 🖤

For now, life looks a bit hectic and different for us. Simultaneously trying to take it easy and slow due to recovery while also visiting the NICU daily, etc. We look forward to getting Pens & Paths back up and going full steam soon, but for now, we appreciate your patience and hanging in there with us as we figure out our next steps!
