🎣🐟 Aurora found the crappie honey hole! 🐟🎣

After finding the smallest w**d bed we could locate, Aurora got right to work and found a school of crappies hiding in it. The results?

✅ 6 of the 8 crappies caught
✅ Largest fish weighed 1.5 lbs
✅ Measured 13.5 inches
✅ Officially outfished Dad 😆

It's safe to say Aurora was the captain of the fishing trip! Watching kids catch fish and build confidence on the water never gets old.

🎣🐟 Athena caught her first BIG fish! 🐟🎣

What a way to start vacation at Prothro's Post Resort! Within 30 seconds of putting her line in the water off the dock, Athena hooked and landed a beautiful 22-inch Northern Pike! 🎉

The excitement on her face was priceless, and it's a fishing memory we'll never forget. Sometimes the best catches happen when you least expect them!

Vacation is officially complete, and we are feeling refreshed and rejuvenated! ☀️🎣

The past week was filled with everything we love—great fishing, countless laughs around the board game table with family, beautiful days on the water, and memories we'll be talking about for years. We even had a little unexpected excitement when a boat rescue became part of the adventure!

Now it's time to get back to reality, but we're returning with full hearts, renewed energy, and plenty of stories to share. Thank you to everyone who helped make the week so memorable.

Of course, our Create-A-Lure creations got plenty of time in the water, and we'll be sharing some of our favorite catches soon!

🎣☀️ Vacation mode: ON! ☀️🎣

We're heading north to beautiful Prothero's Resort in Angle Inlet for a week of relaxation, great fishing, and time to disconnect from the everyday hustle.

We'll be trading emails and screens for sunrises on the water, fresh air, and plenty of casts with our favorite Create-A-Lure creations. There's nothing better than putting a custom-painted lure to the test and seeing what bites!

We can't wait to share photos of our adventures, the fish we catch, and which Create-A-Lure designs prove to be the hot lure of the week. 🐟
