Robert The Artist Robert Johnson paints lovable scenes of Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, Key West, Ontario and Maine.

My work is a record of my life- told through the stories of travel, love and my experiences in the environment that surround me daily. Characteristic touchstones of the neighbourhood, historic buildings and emotionally significant settings trigger my inspiration; by capturing them with paint on canvas. I can preserve and continue that relationship as I share it with others.

I just had the pleasure of creating this original painting for a wonderful couple who have been collecting my art for many many years while visiting their favorite place Anna Maria Island. Their kindness and support have meant so much to me and I'm very grateful to have been commissioned to paint their new home along with their two cats.
