Good Morning and Happy Tuesday, Y'all! Here is a little reintroduction…
I woke up this morning and WOW! We have over 4,500 followers I’m honestly amazed and so grateful for every single one of you!
With so many new faces here, I thought it was probably time to introduce myself and share a little of the story behind Aromatic Addiction, LLC.
I’m Kirby, the owner and maker behind the candles. I’ve always loved fragrance and have been making candles for family and friends for more than 15 years. But Aromatic Addiction really began in 2023, when my dad became ill and I wanted to find a way to step away from my on the road job and be able to help care for him.
I started making candles to help make that possible, and somewhere along the way, that little idea grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined. I was Blessed to have about a year and a half with my dad before he passed, and I’ll always be grateful that this business gave me that time with him.
Today, Aromatic Addiction is in shops from Oxford to Guntersville, I do 15+ markets and shows a year, and I work with wholesale accounts, local businesses, partners and anyone who wants custom and specialty candles for any occasion.
And because real life is still real life, I also work as an on-site representative with Grainger at the Honda plant in Lincoln.
As for the girl behind the candles… I turned 60 this year, I’m a grandmother, a foodie, an admirer of antiquities, a collector of cats, and probably more fragrance oils than any one person really needs!
Most of all, I love the people this business has brought into my life. I’ve met so many wonderful people through my markets, and watching customers become familiar faces and friends has been one of the best parts of this journey.
So, to all 4,500+ of you, thank you for being here and supporting my small business.
Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or you just found me, I’m glad you’re here.
