So enjoy your life now. ❤️

Take the trip. Wear the outfit. Have the glass of wine. Laugh until your stomach hurts. Take the pictures. Spend time with the people you love. Say yes to the things that make you happy—and stop putting your life on hold waiting for the “right” time.

Because the truth is, none of us knows how many years we’re going to get.

We spend so much time worrying about the future that sometimes we forget to actually live in the present.

Getting older is a privilege. Growing older is something we all hope for… but the years between now and then are the ones we’re actually living.

So today, I’m choosing to enjoy the life I have while I have it.

✋MONDAY MORNING REAL TALK✋

Sometimes, “How are you?” is more important than you realize.

We need to talk about checking in with people.

Not just your friends.
Not just your family.
Your coworkers. Your employees. Your team. The people you work alongside every single day.

And here’s the thing…

Don’t always wait for someone to come to you and say they’re struggling.

Sometimes people don’t know how to ask for help. Sometimes they’re embarrassed. Sometimes they don’t want to be a burden. Sometimes they’re so used to saying “I’m fine” that they don’t even know how to explain that they’re NOT fine.

And sometimes… they’re simply waiting for someone to notice.

If you’re an employer, manager, team leader, or someone in a position where you have people depending on you, I truly believe checking in should be part of your responsibility.

Not just an annual review.

Not just when there’s a problem.

Check in quarterly. Check in yearly. Heck, check in just because.

Ask:

👉 How are things going?
👉 How are YOU doing?
👉 Is there anything you’re struggling with?
👉 Is there anything you need from me?
👉 How is business going?
👉 How is life outside of work?

Because here’s what we sometimes forget:

Your personal life and your professional life don’t exist in two completely separate boxes.

When life is hard at home, it can affect your work.
When work is stressful, it can affect your home.
Financial stress, family issues, health struggles, grief, burnout, loneliness, relationship problems… all of those things can walk through the front door with us every morning, whether we want them to or not.

And checking in doesn’t mean you have to fix someone’s problems.

Sometimes people just need to know someone noticed. Someone cares. Someone is paying attention.

And this applies to friendships too.

Don’t always wait for the phone to ring.

Text your friend.
Call your coworker.
Ask your employee how they’re really doing.
Check on the person who always seems to have it together.

Because sometimes the strongest-looking person in the room is the one quietly carrying the heaviest load.

A simple “Hey, I just wanted to check on you. How are you REALLY doing?” can mean more than you will ever know.

We spend so much time checking numbers, productivity, sales, deadlines and performance.

Maybe we should spend a little more time checking on the people behind those numbers.

Just a thought. ❤️

🐾❤️ Meet Bella — The Newest Member of Our Family! ❤️🐾

Well… apparently our family needed one more little soul to love. 🥹❤️

Meet Bella, our newest rescue! 🐶

Bella came to us after being neglected and, sadly, had basically only been fed human food. She’s incredibly gentle, sweet, and just the most lovable girl. She’s now learning what it means to be a dog again — regular dog food, routines, toys, treats, walks, cuddles… and discovering that she has a whole family who thinks she’s pretty darn special. 🥰

She has a lot to learn, but she’s already showing us just how sweet and trusting she can be. Watching her figure things out has been pretty amazing. ❤️

And apparently, she didn’t waste ANY time picking her favorite human because here she is already taking selfies with Dad! 😂📸

Of course, she also has a new sister, Luna… or as we like to call her, Lunatic. 🤣🐕‍🦺

Luna is still working on explaining to Bella that this house has a LOT of energy and that personal space is apparently not a thing around here. 😂

So welcome home, Bella. 🐾❤️
You may have had a rough start, but you’ve landed in a family that intends to spoil you, love you, and show you just how good life can be.

New beginnings. New adventures. One more furry face to love. ❤️🐶
