Art and music for me has not only been a gift to share with others , but a gift to heal my aching heart. I am a huge fan for using Art and Music to help heal and deal with life and the often broken heart. I picked up the brush when dealing with loosing my momma , I picked the music at the same time…. During all the sadness I created Art and songs to help this heart heal. Watching my siblings deal with addiction was a whole different experience. I used songs and art to get me through some of the hardest times dealing with loving someone who doesn’t love themselves. Loosing my sister to addiction brought on an ache that’s hard to explain. We shared the same birthday, so this year, on our birthday , I created a huge heart on the lake shore. I hope she can see from above. I hope anyone who passes it feels love. I feel Art and music are so healing, and I hope if you are hurting or need a release … pick up a brush , pen, guitar, whatever it is you use to create and not a liquor bottle, pill, or drug.
