WHAT WE'RE BAKING THIS OCTOBER | RECIPE 2 OF 6

APPLE DUMPLINGS — Trust the process on this one.

Granny Smith apples wrapped in buttery crescent dough, covered in a cinnamon-sugar butter mixture, and then comes the ingredient you might not expect... MOUNTAIN DEW. That butter mixture and Mountain Dew come together to create the most wonderful cinnamon-butter sauce, while the dumplings bake up beautifully golden.

Serve them warm, spoon a little extra sauce over the top, and add a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
