Just delivered this custom solid ash kitchen island to some clients. Went to take it in but it wouldn’t fit through the door! 🤣😅 They managed it after I left and sent me this photo. Hopefully an heirloom piece for this young couple.

New boxes! Sapele pommele wood and a really amazing quarter sawn AAA grade “fiddleback” curly maple wood that I thought may be a guitar someday but was too small. Sure does make pretty boxes, though. Almost holographic! They all have leather inside bottoms and the undersides are either cherry, curly maple or black walnut.

Today, I’m a leather worker! I really enjoy working with all of these different materials, and making these leather box bottoms is really satisfying because they are the very last step to finished pieces. 🗃️
